My strawberry scone, breakfast sandwich and Americano were fantastic. My sample of poi banana bread was also delicious. Service was polite and friendly. I was there Monday morning 7/28/25. I hope all is well post tsunami.

The homemade pot pies & quiches are so flavorful and you can taste the love that goes into making them. They are also known for their poi banana bread (recommended with the maple butter) and other pastries!

Visiting from LA. This is a gem. The quality of pastries is supreme. I can tell they were fresh and made in house. The decor is very welcoming. I wished I lived closer I would come here more frequently. Parking in the back but be ware the mangoes do fall from quite a bit high. I highly recommend making this a stop before or after the beach.
I had the pineapple cream pie it was Devine.

Hipie in Haleiwa is a hidden gem! The coffee and matcha are top-notch—smooth, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, perfect for a laid-back North Shore morning. The owner, Casey, is warm and personable, making the experience feel extra special. Definitely worth a stop!

delicious food. beautiful decor. friendly service.
All over Oahu, customer service is not always aloha. This place, though, was gorgeous, delicious, and kind. Offering samples as you walk in…listening to the “lead” teach the others how she wants the bake…AND basic game things under the seating (UNO?).
Don't miss it!

I heard about this place from a food blogger on instagram and was excited to give it a try. First time I walked in I waited for someone to help me and it seemed that there was an owner or manager training the employees on baking. She seemed like she was getting very impatient with them and being kind of condescending and the employees seemed to be a bit on edge. It made for a weird vibe.
When someone did help me I got a slice of pineapple cream pie, which was one of the best cream pies I’ve ever had (5 stars for the pineapple pie) and I also ordered a slice of bacon tomato quiche. The quiche in contrast was one of the worst quiches I’ve ever tried. It had maybe two tiny pieces of bacon in the whole thing but not much else. It was more like a plain slice of gelatinous egg jello.
The second time we came we just wanted a slice of pineapple pie, but the register was down and the girls that were working seemed to not want to help the girl that was trying to ring us up, so we just ended up leaving without the pie. Tech problems happen for sure, but it seemed like there was some weird animosity between the employees and they didn’t want to help each other out even though it wasn’t busy when we went in. Strange vibes and quiche but really good pineapple pie 🥧

Super cute cafe with amazing homemade baked goods. Pineapple pie (light and fluffy 💞), chocolate chip cookies 🍪(killer!), homemade chicken pot pies, coffee, and so much more.
Everything is delicious and definitely made with love. 💝

Went in here on a whim when some customers inside heard me talking about getting coffee and they said I needed to go here to get the manic monkey bc it was served with banana bread topper. It was delicious and so was the dice of almond cake I devoured while waiting. My friend got a bag of cookies and said they were also great.
