Extraordinary!!! The best caterer I’ve ever had the pleasure to enjoy!
That may sound superlative, but the compliment was well earned. I’m a wedding photographer, and with hundreds of weddings and all the food that comes with them (literally) under my belt, I can safely say that I have never enjoyed event catering as much as I enjoyed Ka Nui Kitchen. Each dish shined, with a perfect balance of seasoning, ideal textures, and beautiful plating. The gorgeous dinner was somehow surpassed by the dessert! The chai crème brûlée was a delightful twist on a classic that enhanced the creamy egg yolk and caramel flavors. 10/10

My now-husband and I got married last month in North Shore and were completely blown away with the quality and freshness of the food, as well as their professional services. We got so many guest compliments on our food and this was one of our vendors that just went above and beyond to make our wedding a special and pleasant experience for us and our guests! From start to finish, the process was easy and KNK was so easy to work with. They were professional and patient - always willing to explain their services and what our different options would be. We had an amazing tasting experience and were so impressed with our server that we were able to secure her as our Lead - her name is Eva and she was amazing! At first our point of contact was Peyton, then we worked with Mikhaila. Both were so kind and helpful the entire time. Kennedy was our bar manager contact and she was so amazing too! She helped us create an epic mocktail menu and drink selections. Ke Nui Kitchen provides quality food, service and presentation - we cannot recommend them highly enough. They were also very easy to work with regarding food allergies/sensitivities and labelling as well - we really appreciated this. One of my gluten free bridesmaids STILL talks about how much she loved her dinner and how they paid special attention to her! My wife and I used KNK for our wedding in March 2024. We are on the mainland (Washington), so most of our communication was virtual via email, phone, and video calls. We visited them in September 2023 and they adjusted their schedule to accommodate our short visit so we could have a food tasting and cake tasting.Throughout the wedding planning process, Mikhaila at KNK was very communicative and accommodating to us. We had so many questions and she was always very prompt in responding to us. She helped us make our catering menu personalized to us and our tastes!Dessert- We enjoyed how we were able to create our own cake flavor combinations. Our cake was guava cake, guava curd, and coconut frosting. Delicious! We also ordered cake shooters and those were equally delicious.Shave Ice Bar- We wanted to offer a cool, sweet treat to our guests. The shave ice bar was a huge hit! You pick several flavors to have on stock, plus some toppings for guests to choose from. Refreshing and sweet!Premium Bar- We could not afford the open bar option, so we opted for a limited bar package for our guests. We picked from a variety of packages. They also were open to adjusting the package to suit our needs and tastes. For example, decreasing the amount of wine bottles and adding more hard seltzers.Food- Food was prepared on-site during our wedding. It was all delicious! Every dish was delicious-- but our favorites were the pork lechon and kimchi brussel sprouts. We received a lot of compliments from our guests about the food. We highly recommend them!

We had Ke Nui Kitchen cater our wedding, and it was perfect! The staff was so friendly and very attentive. The food was seriously the best I’ve ever had at a wedding (not to be biased, but it really was!). I was thinking about the food days later. We had finger foods for cocktail hour which were perfectly sized and were to die for. We had a buffet for the main foods, it went so smoothly and the food was hot and so yummy. There was something magical about the purple potato with coconut curry. We also had them make and decorate our cake and cupcakes too. They turned out perfect. The night wouldn’t have been the same without them! If you’re considering hiring them, just go ahead already. We’re from Texas and took the leap without tasting any of their food before hand, and it was the best decision we could have made!
Our onsite staff Allana, Manny, Andy, Noah, and Russel were so great to work with. Nicole in the back office was so helpful too. As an event planner, I really appreciate their professionalism, attentiveness, flexibility, and willingness to help. My clients loved how fresh and tasty their dinner was! Ke Nui Kitchen gave us a true farm-to table-experience that drew rave reviews from our wedding guests. It’s difficult to prepare food for larger parties, but their staff cooks the food on site serves it fresh and hot to guests. A few months before our wedding, we did a food tasting that is included in the booking. Every dish was delicious, so it was difficult to choose our final menu! During the tasting they also took notes on any changes in preparation, from using slightly less soy sauce to substituting ingredients. While every dish was great, our favorites were the asparagus & potato salad, kimchi brussel sprouts and the huli brasa chicken. We also had Ke Nui Kitchen cater our rehearsal lunch. We gave them a location and they dropped off the food on time. They set up the trays and provided serving utensils for us. Very smooth process, and shout out to Nicole for being so easy to work with. Highly recommended!

Unbelievable service leading up to and during our wedding on 1/21/19. We had 25 guests and setting up a menu plan and designing a wedding cake was an absolute breeze emailing back and forth with Nicole as we are up in Vancouver. The food on the day was incredible- major shout out to the sweet potato watercress salad, Kalua pork and our favourite the squid luau- which I will be dreaming about for months to come. The cake was STUNNING as well- so many options for flavours to choose from, we were so happy with the outcome! We are so thankful we chose KNK to work with. Whenever we told others on the island we were using them they had nothing but praise as well. Thank you so much for making our big day SO special!
