It was refreshing to find this charming restaurant out on the north shore. Attentive and polite service with tasty dishes. Nothing like I've ever had before, the menu selection of tapas were artistically created and the flavors light and balanced perfectly. The drinks expertly layered with unexpected but complimented flavors. I will definitely come back.

For two we shared three tapas and one plate and we ended the evening with some dessert for my wife's birthday. Food was phenomenal would highly recommend. Serving team was very nice and helpful!

This was our first time and we totally enjoyed it, other than being held to the 2 hour time limit. We ordered a lot of food and drinks as well as desert but was told to hurry at the end which was unnecessary. As we were still ordering. Overall the food was excellent, our waitress wanted absolutely wonderful and offered excellent suggestions. Would highly recommend but know even on a Tuesday, even if ordering - you are on a set time limit.

This restaurant is outstanding! Excellent food, great service and nice authentic local vibe! Jacci was wonderful and this is the best experience we have had in O'ahu. I highly recommend this beautiful place!

The staff at Mayas was very sweet we made a reservation that afternoon and they were able to squeeze us in! Make sure to reserve! The food was great we got the lamb empanadas, crudo special , octopus and Patatas bravas and the shrimp! The shrimp and potato's were the best and had the most flavor with a bit of spice! The octopus was cold and lacked flavor and spice so personally would not order again! Overall the ambiance was amazing for a date night with warm lighting, if they seat you outside make sure to bring a little cover as it can get cold!

Love the food! Lamont clearly thinks out his menu. Nothing like it in north shore. Pairing wine with the menu and knowledgeable staff. Menu changes and that makes this restaurant stand out from the others. Eat outside or in. Pleasant and friendly!

Really cute little restaurant with a great variety of food. Everything we had was great - from appetizers to desserts - every dish was well plated and looked amazing. Spicy is SPICY! We have been for both lunch and dinner. Patio seating is nice and sitting at the bar was fun! Quality food and service!

If you're in Haleiwa and you're looking for a delicious brunch, head to Maya's. It's worth the wait if they're busy. We ended up sitting inside. I was a little worried that it would be noisy, but it wasn't. We had the couscous salad, the French toast, chicken and waffles, and the lobster roll. Everything was perfect. The servers were attentive and friendly, and when I asked for some hot sauce I was given their house made sauce, which was soooooo ono! If you like hot, ask for a bit of the hot sauce!

This restaurant, (or Banzai in the same shopping complex) is one of the two best restaurants on the North Shore - the Tapas are good, some better than others but the drinks are always inventive + delicious, and the service is great. I don't like sitting on the patio because there's usually too much sun, but we go here whenever we feel like giving ourselves a little treat. It's nice for a special occasion - it's not going to be as fancy as the options in Honolulu, but probably the nicest place on the North side :)

Always fresh and tasty lunch. Good cocktails too. Nice open restaurant and they use local ingredients.

Maya's was outstanding and I'd highly recommend. The only thing that wasn't great was the goat. But I think I'll carry the memory of the shrimp w/ chorizo to my grave, and don't get me started on that cast iron boat of hot cheese known as the baked burrata... Have mercy. My only note is that the drinks were small, and they had giant ice cubes in them. Not a good value IMHO.

This is a hidden gem on North Shore. My wife and I shared five of the small dishes and they were all delicious. Furthermore, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would recommend making reservations. However, my family was lucky enough to walk in before the rush.

2nd time around and again enjoyed ourselves. Sat indoors this time and that was nice. Sauted calamari was a little bland but everything else was good.
