Came here twice the açaí bowls were amazing. First time we had the I lava you bowl. Second time we came back we had the monkey bowl. Both great both are completely different. Highly recommend this place. Also being right across from sharks cove was a big thing.

I have no idea how this place got this many positive reviews. I got the blue majik bowl and the base was full of chunky ice pieces, not smooth at all and had no taste, just water. The rest of the bowl barely had 1 table spoon of granola, 1 sliced strawberry, and a couple of blueberries. It’s crazy I paid 18 dollars for a chunky ice/water bowl. Overhyped, overpriced.

A Little Piece of Happiness at Sunrise Shack 🌞
Every time I stopped by the Sunrise Shack after snorkeling at Shark’s Cove, I felt like I’d found a small piece of paradise. The ocean breeze, the sound of waves, and that first spoonful of the acai bowl — everything just felt right.
The people here are the heart of this place. They greet you with real smiles, not the kind you put on for work, but the kind that make your morning lighter. There’s something special about how they turn a simple shack into a space filled with warmth and joy.
I’ve been here four times this trip, and I already know I’ll be back again. Some places feed your body, but Sunrise Shack feeds your spirit. Mahalo for the beautiful mornings and the kindness you share so effortlessly.

I was looking for beer 🍻, and had to continue my ride....
$18 acai bowl (extra because i ordered with whey protein) came out super melted and not cold at all. Not to mention cashier was super moody.

The açaí bowl was missing mango, the avocado was rotten, and the lox had an extremely bitter taste. The place itself is cute, but the food was inedible.

The wife and I enjoyed what we had but the wait time was a tad ridiculous. The young lady behind the register didn’t acknowledge us or even really look at us. The smoothies did however, taste fresh!

Stopped by around 10:30am today to try their smoothies for the first time. Sitting area and environment was great. Once we approached the cashier, blonde haired female type, was not the sunshine experience you would expect. Seems like she didn’t want to be there or cared much to get our order.
She had said “hi” and “name for the order”.
But name wasn’t called when the order was done.
I understand people have their bad days, but if you’re the first face of a business, maybe leave all the other bs at home or don’t come to work.
