Uncle Bo's Haleiwa

Their gluten free primevera pasta changed my life. I will forever live in regret that I don't live in Hawaii and can't have this every single day for the rest of my life.

A great place to get a drink and the food here just can't be beat!

I might be a little biased considering my name and the fact that I'm indeed an uncle, but honestly if you're looking for a quick stop and very reasonable prices, this is the place. Nothing fancy, just good food and great service.

Food was ok. Nothing special except price. We were surprised about a 29$ portion of pasta.
Kids menu is fair for 13$ pasta with a huge meatball.

Interior does need an urgent upgrade. You‘re sitting almost in the hole between wooden frame of chair. Only thin fabrik preventing you from falling in.

Loved it here! We almost didn’t eat here bc we wanted to go to the trucks, but decided to give it a shot. It was around 4 on a Friday and not too busy and our server was very nice but not on top of things- our food came out super fast and I had to ask where our drinks were, she had forgotten, but she brought them right out once I asked. Aloha time I suppose, nbd but would have been nice to enjoy my drink before the food arrived. But she was okay after that and very sweet. We just ordered off the happy hour menu and had sliders, pot stickers and garlic shrimp- all very good but the garlic shrimp was AMAZING!!! We were talking about it for two days after! Would highly recommend coming here for happy hour and ordering a garlic shrimp per person- it’s a full meal- our only regret was not ordering two.

Split the fish and chips with my spouse and they were great! Ordered a side of the coleslaw as well and was yummy. The lady serving us, Silkie, as great as well.

Really great food. We recommend the Hobos taro dessert. It is heavenly! Cocktails are also really wonderful! Our server was super friendly and gave great recommendations.

The reception was not very receptive ??
For a while I didn't want to enter the place, I asked for a table for 3 people and it was difficult to find a table, I decided to sit at the counter, that way I could access the restaurant.
When I sat at the counter there were tables available.
But I always tend to point out the positives and I really liked the service at the counter by two bar women.
Wonderful food! And the starter they offer as a courtesy is very tasty.
It was worth the visit!

Very average, overpriced, generic food. Pasta tasted like a jar of sauce off the supermarket shelf on some overcooked pasta. Would not recommend.

Highly recommended. The attention is outstanding. We ordered garlic shrimp and fish, delicious. The portions are generous. They have a good selection of drinks. The price is fair for what you receive.

Fabulous restaurant! Traveling as a Celiac can be so difficult, but I found this little gem and could not have been more impressed! My husband and I ate at Uncle Bo’s twice during our stay. Once you find somewhere safe you don’t mind making a few trips there!
I was very pleased with the items on the menu I was able to eat and my husband loved his meals as well.
The staff are just wonderful! So kind, so helpful, we had the sweetest servers both days. They were very engaging as well.
I definitely will eat at Uncle Bo’s again!

Garlic shrimp over rice was awesome. The sauce over the rice was great. We had a great time there as it starting pouring rain in the middle of our beer, eating and people watching. Lots of fun. Beware the bathrooms are about a mile away (not really a mile) and communal to all the stores on that side of the street. We will go back there again.
