Uncle Bo's Haleiwa

Really great food. We recommend the Hobos taro dessert. It is heavenly! Cocktails are also really wonderful! Our server was super friendly and gave great recommendations.

The reception was not very receptive ??
For a while I didn't want to enter the place, I asked for a table for 3 people and it was difficult to find a table, I decided to sit at the counter, that way I could access the restaurant.
When I sat at the counter there were tables available.
But I always tend to point out the positives and I really liked the service at the counter by two bar women.
Wonderful food! And the starter they offer as a courtesy is very tasty.
It was worth the visit!

Very average, overpriced, generic food. Pasta tasted like a jar of sauce off the supermarket shelf on some overcooked pasta. Would not recommend.

Highly recommended. The attention is outstanding. We ordered garlic shrimp and fish, delicious. The portions are generous. They have a good selection of drinks. The price is fair for what you receive.

Fabulous restaurant! Traveling as a Celiac can be so difficult, but I found this little gem and could not have been more impressed! My husband and I ate at Uncle Bo’s twice during our stay. Once you find somewhere safe you don’t mind making a few trips there!
I was very pleased with the items on the menu I was able to eat and my husband loved his meals as well.
The staff are just wonderful! So kind, so helpful, we had the sweetest servers both days. They were very engaging as well.
I definitely will eat at Uncle Bo’s again!

Garlic shrimp over rice was awesome. The sauce over the rice was great. We had a great time there as it starting pouring rain in the middle of our beer, eating and people watching. Lots of fun. Beware the bathrooms are about a mile away (not really a mile) and communal to all the stores on that side of the street. We will go back there again.

Went here for dinner and got the veggie pizza with pepperoni on it. The pizza was so good, and they actually put a ton of toppings on it. It will easily fill 2 people and possibly 3. We did not have to wait long either to get it and the price was decent for 2 people. If you are ever here try out their pizza.

Parking: There's parking on the side of the street and parking in the back, depending kn the day and time it might be hard to find parking.

We found this place when we went to visit the north shore of o’ahu and I’m glad we went here!
The food was great but the best thing was the dessert: Hobo’s is really one of the best desserts I’ve ever tasted and the best I ate in the island. Besides that, people are wonderful and the music is absolutely perfect. Worth the price.

We went to uncle Bo’s because a friend said it was good and just looking to relax with the kids. We sat outside because the music inside was so extremely loud and there’s a little grass area the kids played in and that was nice. The food was good except for the stomach aches my husband and I both came home and had. So disappointing. If you eat healthy don’t go here they are clearly full of garbage ingredients. The food came out in like 10 mins which is great but I can only assume everything is out of a box /frozen and premade. Why are restaurants like this now? Quality of food is just down the drain. Like eating at McDonald’s at 4 star restaurants. If I’m going to go out and spend 100+ on food plus $8 coronas (which is just insane) I expect to not come home and feel like garbage, just another restaurant in Haleiwa I’m disappointed with. Put quality in food again.
