Had the Single Smash Burger and added bacon...man, it was good!! If you're thinking about getting the double, you better be hungry! Understanding that everything is pricey in Hawaii, this place was even more so...4 of us spent $200 (including tip) for burgers and fries. The service was good - Jay gets 5 stars, but he took over for the server who sat us and she was not very attentive. Atmosphere was phenomenal as we were overlooking the ocean as we ate. If you take the Highway to Hana, this is a good rest stop before heading back.

This as always been one of our favorite restaurants at Maui. Excellent food as always. We had Ahi Salad, BBQ Ribs & Calamari. Each dish was outstanding. Atmosphere and view towards Hana bay is very relaxing. Highly recommended place!

Three stars to Service because ladies working there, hostess, and waitress made me feel uncomfortable and not welcomed. I saw the same extreme seriousness with everyone, like if they don't like working there. First time I have written a not so positive review. Other than that, everything else was great. I loved the guy who brought our food to the table. What a great smile, what a wonderful vibe.

The first question hostess asked .. Do you have a reservation? .. yet there was not one person in the restaurant. No smiles from the staff.. nobody seemed like they really cared. The spicey chicken sandwich was blah. Dry breaded chicken with jalapeños on it. The food is nothing special. We wanted it to be good. The place is very cute and has so much potential but I guess for a small town they are limited on what they can do.

We had dinner here one evening while we stayed in Hana last month.
The restaurant was very clean and well maintained. The decor is simple, but fun. Check out the wall of ukuleles! There is indoor dining as well as a large covered outdoor patio. Both have beautiful views of the ocean.
We arrived without a reservation, but we didn't have to wait long for a table. We were seated on the outdoor covered patio. We were able to enjoy the view while also enjoying the light breeze. Our server was very attentive and made sure our drinks didn't run out. She was very friendly as well. Actually, all the staff we interacted with were quite friendly.
The Hana Ranch Steak was excellent. The rib eye was properly prepared and served with blue cheese butter and two delicious sides (mashed potatoes, broccolini). The Local Catch was equally as good, very fresh and well prepared. The fish was seasoned with furikake, and included rice, a grilled pineapple spear, and sauteed zucchini. The Cheesy Garlic Fries made for a great starter as well. The prices are a bit high, but it's understandable considering how far away Hana is from the rest of the island.
We had a very enjoyable evening at the Hana Ranch Restaurant. We loved Hana and hope to come back, and we'll definitely come back here to enjoy another meal!

Food was just okay and prices were high. I feel like it should have been much better for the price. I also don't think my fish burger was cooked properly. It was not marked with the warning regarding undercooked meat, yet it was not fully cooked. The garlic cheese fries were pretty standard with parmesan cheese. The view was nice and staff was quick and attentive.

The fried chicken sandwich I had was burned black and pretty inedible. In their defense I did not say anything and the restaurant had a wonderful view but it was a $150 bill for 2 people and I didn’t eat more than 1 bite of my meal

We didn't get everything we ordered. Once the food came, no one checked to see if everything was okay or fill our water. We were a little disappointed. The different ukuleles on the wall were interesting.
