“Omg. Visiting from Oregon, originally from Pittsburgh. This is by far the best pizza I have had since leaving the east coast 12 years ago. We honestly weren’t expecting much… but was absolutely blown away. We had a classic pepperoni and cheese and the artichoke and feta pizzas. This pizza made me want to move to Hana just to eat here every day!!!”

“Service was fast. We ordered pad Thai and crispy fish with mango sauce. They both tasted excellent. Pad thai is not too sweet, 4 big shrimps in it, not too greasy, could have a little bit more of veggies though. The fish tasted very fresh. The sauce had savory balance of sweetness, tanginess, and saltiness. It complemented perfectly with the very tender mango, crispy lettuce, and tidbits of cilantro.”

“The owner was so pleasant every time we stopped by during our stay in Hana. The coffee was delicious and the banana bread was the best we had in Maui! She also had great recommendations for things to do during our stay. We can’t wait to visit again!”

“Now this was amazing, crispy fish, crispy fries. I didn’t quite catch the name of the black sauce… but I think it was a mix of soy sauce with something. Anyways the fish and chips were great on its own, but the addition of a sauces was chef’s kiss. This would be a must try in my opinion.”

“During a long day on the Road to Hana, Island chef was a much needed respite. 4 adults and 2 kids are not easy to please and Island Chef delivered where everyone was happy. The bbq pork taco was incredible. Juicy with a lot of flavor. I was in heaven after all those hours driving!”

“Had both their chicken and ribs on the road to Hana and I'm so glad we stopped. Not only was the chicken delicious, but the ribs were utterly incredible! Huge, juicy, full of flavor, and amazingly tender, these genuinely were some of the best ribs I've ever had. Highly, highly recommend”

“These popsicles are the best! We got Strawberry Lime, Orange Guava and Mango mojito! Angela was super friendly and the only reason we stopped is because she was smiling and waving from the road! TOTALLLY WORTH IT! These are nothing less than 5 star ”

“We made a pitstop on our journey to the Seven Sacred Pools at Haleakala. Butter and garlic shrimp and chips were cooked fresh to order and delicious. At least two cloves of garlic in our six shrimp!”

“Had the Single Smash Burger and added bacon...man, it was good!! If you're thinking about getting the double, you better be hungry! Understanding that everything is pricey in Hawaii, this place was even more so...4 of us spent $200 (including tip) for burgers and fries. The service was good - Jay gets 5 stars, but he took over for the server who sat us and she was not very attentive. Atmosphere was phenomenal as we were overlooking the ocean as we ate. If you take the Highway to Hana, this is a good rest stop before heading back.”

“We had a great experience at the Laudree restaurant. We had an impromptu gender reveal where we asked our waiter to bring us colored macarons after showing them a card with the gender written on it. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, brought us complimentary macarons with a golden lid covering them and a couple champagne flutes, they unveiled them so ceremoniously and even announced to the other guests and everyone clapped making our experience extra special. We're so grateful to the whole staff for making our day so memorable.”

“This place reflects the charm and overwhelming beauty of its surroundings. We stopped in to set up our little picnic lunch at one of their beautiful seating areas, drank delicious coffee served by a sweet and friendly young woman and made friends with one of the adorable cat residents who followed us around the premises on the walk we took on the stunning grounds before heading back on the road. It should go without saying that the crops being grown on this farm are of a quality and variety that one would not soon forget. Highly recommended stop.”

“Breakfast at The Restaurant at The Hana Maui Resort is fantastic. The food is delicious, service excellent and setting is amazing. Expect typical resort prices, but well worth the money.

Currently they only serve breakfast because unfortunately there’s not enough customers to support lunch or dinner. However, the Hana Ranch restaurant, also owned by the resort, makes up for that.

If you get a chance to eat here, and don’t mind splurging a little bit, definitely make the effort.”
