“Happened to be walking by, saw how busy it was, and loved the chill vibe so I waited for a table and so glad I did. Staff is EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL! Food was outstanding! The breakfast burrito was 10/10! The smash burger is one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long long time. The pancakes were fluffy and full of flavor! Would 110% recommend Cafe Mambo and definitely worth the wait if they don’t have an empty table!”

“Service, ambiance was Amazing. Food was very good , the only thing I can recommend is that the hot soba be steaming HOT in temperature. Mine came slightly hot /warm and because seating is outside it became warm fast. Otherwise it was a Great experience and we will definitely go back and just ask to have my hot soba steaming hot ❤️”

“Story is my favourite Cafe on Maui! They have the BEST lattes on island and delish breakfast bagels and smoothie bowls. I'm from Finland and very picky about my coffee so i know what i'm talking about ;) Staff is super friendly and kind. Nice vibe and chill athmosphere overall. Good spot for doing some laptop work too. Good value for your money. Only minus is that they close already at noon and kitchen closes ~10:45am. So make sure you get there early if you want to enjoy some yammy food along with your drinks. Thank you Story staff for making my days extra happy ! <3”

“Literally the best vegan ice cream Eye’ve ever had and really ice cream in general from when Eye wasn’t vegan. There are only about four vegan options but Eye swear they’re soooo delicious. My favorites are the mint chip and the brown sugar. Updated from previous review on 2026-03-28”

“Travis was our guy, so friendly an chill offered great choices and had such a nice smile. Bar service was amazing. Food was exceptional tender calamari with a dipping sauce recommended by Travis was what brought us back a 2nd time. And the burger. Wow. My husband is a chef and it made him very happy. The margaritas where delicious and so refreshing. Thankyou we will make it part of our trip next time too .Many Blessings .”
