Wabisabi Soba & Sushi Reviews
Location is outdoor under a large tree. It had rained just before we arrived, so we had drops hitting us for a short while. It was humid at the beginning, but a small breeze later came in and kept us cooler. Food was excellent, quality and price. It is a BYOB restaurant, which is perfect for us. Love this restaurant! The food is delicious and such a personal experience. Love the outdoor space - and that it's quiet. Great staff!
Delicious hot and cold soba dishes, generous and tasty sushi and sashimi, surprisingly yummy green salad with tofu, delicious desserts, and friendly unobtrusive service. We had a quiet comfortable outdoor table (it's all outdoors), and a lovely leisurely dinner

Wabisabi Soba & Sushi offers authentic Japanese soba and hand rolls in a charming, casual setting with a peaceful Japanese garden. The food is simple yet delicious, prepared with care. Customers highly recommend trying the hamachi, salmon, and avocado hand rolls, as well as the kitsune hot soba and the spectacular Hot Soba with braised beef. The duck soba is tender and flavorful, and the Soba Cream Brûlée is a must-try. The soba noodles, made with 100% buckwheat, highlight their quality and flavor. The restaurant's atmosphere is intimate and authentic, featuring some of the coolest and most authentic Japanese décor. Thoughtfully chosen decor, lighting, and crockery create a pleasant and relaxing environment. The staff is warm and welcoming, providing prompt service and ensuring water is always full, making guests feel comfortable despite the small size of the venue. The setting is beautiful and unusual, with outdoor dining that captures the essence of Japan in Hawaii. With good prices compared to other sushi places on the island and wheelchair accessibility, Wabisabi remains a highly recommended spot in Paia, Maui. It is advisable to get a reservation due to its small size.
