“Oh my gosh, I had heard about mama’s fish house for years from my family and from other people. I was finally lucky enough to try it with some of my best girlfriends! It did not disappoint at all. The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful, the service was impeccable, and the food was just as expected very very delicious! It’s definitely a treat and we enjoyed it thoroughly!!“

“We came here primarily for my husband to do the tour and watch the sunset. He did the tour on his own and ended up being the only person on it which he said was a bit awkward but wonderful at the same time since he got to see a little bit more and had a great time chatting with the tour guide, Alan. My girls (ages 8 and 11) and I sat at one of the picnic tables on their expansive lawn looking at the beautiful scenery, having some mocktails, and reading our books. It was definitely fine with our kids although they wouldn’t have been allowed on the tour. The food was delicious and fresh. We had the hummus plate, Mac nut pesto flatbread, ahi tuna sandwich, and Caesar salad. Everything was great and price point I’d say is about what I would expect for Maui and the location. Although the clouds obscured the view of the sunset, the extra cloud cover made the evening temps bearable since the majority of the tables were fully exposed to the sun. Our server, Daniel was very friendly and attentive. There was live music from 5-7 and once the sun set, the lights came on making it all look quite magical. All in all, we had a great time. Would definitely recommend especially if you are in Upcountry and looking for something different to do.“

“We had to pinch ourselves when we walked into this lovely culinary oasis. The menu is hugely diverse and absolutely delicious! The desserts are phenomenal and the service is fantastic! “Ordered mango sticky rice bowl and acai bowl. They taste great. However, the server was taking her sweet old time. I mean deliberately going slow even with people waiting. I dont expect anyone to rush and stress out, but this was pretty funny if you were watching her prepare the bowls. 5 stars if you get a good worker, perhaps others will be better, or if you don't mind the carefree service (this was at 2pm Friday, June 12, 2026)“

The whole check in, seating, and ordering are done autonomously, but service and food were quick and delicious! Everything is also packed as take out which makes it easy if you were heading to the airport after.“

“Garlic shrimp, ribeye steak, and Korean chicken were flavoured so well and cooked perfectly! The shrimp tastes way better than the more famous shrimp trucks. (We also ordered the ahi Katsu, which didn't land on the faves list, but that's a matter of personal preference. It was cooked and flavoured well...I just prefer a seared ahi over a fully cooked one.)

Service was friendly and quick, atmosphere is average...it's a food truck at the edge of the Lowe's parking lot 🙃

“10/10 the blackened seared ahi tuna changed my life. Fish was so fresh and the sear was perfect. The tartar sauce gave it the perfect creaminess. We also got the lobster & shrimp and that was also cooked perfectly. Great location near the airport

“Snails are the best! The long John's used to have a lot more filling but not so much, now. The snails are light, fluffy and high. I buy a whole box to freeze and take back home with me. The interior hasn't changed in 50 years so it's very nostalgic. The gentleman the works here is the most friendly and smiles. It's a regular stop for is when we come home every summer.“

It’s a hole-in-the-wall place and we both got the chicken katsu. He got the kimchi as a side and I got the salted cabbage. Both were delicious!

“One of the food trucks in the Maika’i market in the Maui Mall Village and possibly my favourite meal in Maui. Food is made to order so the pork was crispy, juicy and so tender. The fresh onion, tomato, and vinegar dipping sauce balanced the pork’s richness and fattiness beautifully. The people running it are friendly and clearly care that they are serving great food. Huge portion too - it served as both lunch and dinner! Would love to go back and try more things.“

“My 98 year old Dad and I wanted something new to try...Dad had a crispy ceasar with fresh mahi and I had the BEST hot dog ever. Juicy, cheesy, cooked to perfection. The homemade potato salad was delectable. Service was excellent and friendly. Lovely view, easy access, and 30,000 dollar bills on the walls and ceiling...our new favorite place for a casual, delicious meal and terrific aloha vibe. Not to be missed!“
