“Overall the experience was great. It's hard to beat the view and the service was top notch. There was a ton of hype around the food and a few dishes were tasty but our main entree fell flat. Our favorite dishes were the red buttered crab and the waygu hangar steak. I could swim in the red buttered crab. The Maui fish of the day was dry and the octopus dish was a bit disappointing. The sauce was so sour. It was a lemon vinaigrette but it had a few too many squeezes of lemon. The additional greenery is not necessary and takes away from the octopus. The main entree was overcooked. Overall, we really did enjoy our experience. The ambiance, view and service made it!“

We started with the West Coast oysters, which were fresh and delicious. I had the scallops, and they were cooked well with great flavor. My husband ordered the ono, which was fresh, flaky, and nicely prepared.

The food and service were both very good, but the spectacular views are what really set this restaurant apart. It’s a great spot if you’re looking to enjoy a nice meal in one of Maui’s most scenic locations.“

“Looking for a quick and easy bite to eat, my husband and I ordered takeout from Da Kitchen Maui. We ordered the Kalbi plate and an order of deep fried spam masubi to-go. The service was fast and extremely friendly. We ended up taking our food back to our resort to enjoy in the comfort of our room.

The Kalbi plate and deep fried spam musubi was plenty for the two of us to share and came with tons of rice and Mac salad. The short ribs were tender, and the chicken was moist. I had never tried deep fried spam musubi before, but I was a big fan.

Holly and the crew at diamonds made great food and drinks in spectacular and accommodating environment. We had over 40 people and they made it work with multiple TV’s and sound. It was a great time! We weren’t disappointed. I had my fill of smoked salmon, ahi poke, bacon, and eggs benny (all buffet so that was a plus). Kiddos had everything and the wife really enjoyed the atmosphere. Not stuffy, great staff (Venus was our server) and the kamaaina was a plus. Coming back again.“
