“I was on my way to the sunset views when some locals recommended this place and said it was really good. Since it was so close, I decided to give it a try—and I’m so glad I did!

It was excellent! Honestly, coming from the Ritz-Carlton, I’d say it was just as good. The portions are huge, and they are so generous! My husband and I are absolutely stuffed. 😂

“We had reservations because it’s highly recommended as it’s a gem of a place and were greeted kindly - hostess asked us if we have even been to Maui Wine and showed us where the restrooms were- we didn’t even ask so I thought that was so kind of her. Every single staff member came to our table asking how everything was and if we needed anything, cleared empty dishes ect. - Explained the types of wine and our food selections for us and we left with some wine and jelly 🥰 It was an amazing experience! “Small place tucked away on a small side road but huge ono flavors. I am from central maui and had the day off so decided to cruise da country area and decided to stop when I saw this. The name had me thinking pastry automatically. There was a good amount of options to try but I tried the mango berry sconce and apple almond tart.
Wow! I was impressed the sconce had a nice crunchy outside super soft inside made with fresh fruit and the flavor was perfect not super sweet but nice and light. The apple tart is a Lil more sweet and has great textures happening but the more you eat the more you want. I say it is ono and i am definitely not a sweet dessert type of person.
The girl was nice and they have a menu with more than just pastries. Ill bring my visiting ohanas here next time.“

We were overindulged from the moment we sat down at the table with the most beautiful view, surrounded by soothing live music. “Oh my gosh, I had heard about mama’s fish house for years from my family and from other people. I was finally lucky enough to try it with some of my best girlfriends! It did not disappoint at all. This dinner, while expensive, was genuinely one of the best meals and experiences I’ve ever had! I sat near the kitchen for about 3 hours and wish I could go back. Everyone was friendly, talkative, and informative. This was an amazing night, amazing atmosphere, and EXCELLENT food and drink! I will be coming back any and every time I am in Maui. “I would go back to Maui just to eat here. Apparently it was on Food Network's Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives with Guy Fieri and the food is excellent! This is a small place with limited seating indoors and outdoors, we just happened to show up when there was an open table (lucky for us!) and the service was fantastic! My mistake was booking too short a vacation so there was no way to try everything on the menu this time, so now I have a reason to return.“

“My Thai Maui was quite literally the BEST food my family and I have ever had. Each dish was packed with so much flavor, love, and sooo fresh. Not only did the food come out so quickly but it was so hot. We loved every single thing we ordered. The family is so kind and helpful, they even gave us extra mango with our mango sticky rice 🥹 I wish we found this place sooner during our stay here because it was so amazing. The restaurant is so unique & has such wonderful decor. We loved it here and when we come back to Maui, this will be our first stop. Definitely GO & support this spectacular family owned restaurant.

“Garlic shrimp, ribeye steak, and Korean chicken were flavoured so well and cooked perfectly! The shrimp tastes way better than the more famous shrimp trucks. (We also ordered the ahi Katsu, which didn't land on the faves list, but that's a matter of personal preference. It was cooked and flavoured well...I just prefer a seared ahi over a fully cooked one.)

Service was friendly and quick, atmosphere is average...it's a food truck at the edge of the Lowe's parking lot 🙃

“10/10 the blackened seared ahi tuna changed my life. Fish was so fresh and the sear was perfect. The tartar sauce gave it the perfect creaminess. We also got the lobster & shrimp and that was also cooked perfectly. Great location near the airport

“We dined at Kō on the first night of our trip and then again on the last night. Both experiences were fantastic. Try to ignore the sticker shock of how expensive the meal will be & just settle in for the ride.

Every person in our party loved every dish we ordered. We had the Ahi Katsu, Korean Kalbi Wagyu Sirloin Ssam, Grilled Hawaiian Catch (Opakapaka), Herb Crusted Fresh Catch, and Wagyu dumplings.

The Kalbi Wagyu Sirloin was so much fun to eat - I loved making lettuce wraps with the perfectly cooked steak, the wagyu fried rice was epic, the flavor on the steak alone was worth just eating it straight from the plate.

The Ahi Katsu was cooked perfectly and the katsu presentation was great.

Both fresh fish entrees had unique sides that enhanced each dish.

Our servers were both fantastic - we had Morgan on night one and Victoria (who was moonlighting from the breakfast buffet). They expertly described the menu and dishes and were fun to chat with.

Our toddler loved running around the grassy area near the patio, which made our lives a lot easier!“

Warm and friendly lady was looking after the whole place but she was gracious and unhurried with each table.
