“We had reservations because it’s highly recommended as it’s a gem of a place and were greeted kindly - hostess asked us if we have even been to Maui Wine and showed us where the restrooms were- we didn’t even ask so I thought that was so kind of her. “I'm not a crepe fan and they weren't serving from the full menu, so just settled on a croissant. My local friends really like this place a lot. I was a bit put off by the service, which wasn't too friendly and extremely slow. We waited 10-20 mins to be seated and another 10-15 to have our order taken. It just wasn't worth the wait, IMO, but I also wasn't into their breakfast menu, so take my opinion for what it is.“

“Oh my gosh, I had heard about mama’s fish house for years from my family and from other people. I was finally lucky enough to try it with some of my best girlfriends! It did not disappoint at all. The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful, the service was impeccable, and the food was just as expected very very delicious! It’s definitely a treat and we enjoyed it thoroughly!!“

This dinner, while expensive, was genuinely one of the best meals and experiences I’ve ever had! I sat near the kitchen for about 3 hours and wish I could go back. “Looking for a quick and easy bite to eat, my husband and I ordered takeout from Da Kitchen Maui. We ordered the Kalbi plate and an order of deep fried spam masubi to-go. The service was fast and extremely friendly. We ended up taking our food back to our resort to enjoy in the comfort of our room.

The Kalbi plate and deep fried spam musubi was plenty for the two of us to share and came with tons of rice and Mac salad. The short ribs were tender, and the chicken was moist. I had never tried deep fried spam musubi before, but I was a big fan.

So if you’re looking for a tasty quick bite to eat, I’d recommend Da Kitchen Maui.“

“Garlic shrimp, ribeye steak, and Korean chicken were flavoured so well and cooked perfectly! The shrimp tastes way better than the more famous shrimp trucks. (We also ordered the ahi Katsu, which didn't land on the faves list, but that's a matter of personal preference. It was cooked and flavoured well...I just prefer a seared ahi over a fully cooked one.)
