Small place tucked away on a small side road but huge ono flavors. I am from central maui and had the day off so decided to cruise da country area and decided to stop when I saw this. The name had me thinking pastry automatically. There was a good amount of options to try but I tried the mango berry sconce and apple almond tart.

La Provence | French Bistro is a charming spot in upcountry, known for its wonderful pastries and outstanding baked goods. Other popular items include the Pavlova, Opera Cake, berry mango scone, cherry tart, and lilikoi pie, all at a very fair price. The coffee is quite decent, and the staff is friendly and lovely. The pastry shop and coffees open early, while dining and breakfast start at 10am. Some reviews note that the hours listed online may not be accurate, and the bathrooms could be cleaner, but many guests have had great interactions with the baristas and local customers.
