“Wow. This was a highlight, but we almost didn’t stop because it was a little confusing. Tastings offered on the hour (we didn’t have reservations) but we were able to get in. A little weird; wait in the merch line to buy tasting tickets, then meet in a grassy field on the side of the building. BUT, then the magic happened. Alan was knowledgeable & funny… and I absolutely fell in love with the company’s story (and their spirits!). After the tasting, we hung out for dinner on the lawn with live music and great cocktails! A must-stop. Wonderful.“

“By far the BEST food we had on our trip, and probably some of the best Thai food I’ve had period. Lots of vegetarian options, I got the orange tofu bao buns and vegan spring rolls, which were basically perfect. The dining area is small but uniquely decorated in a fun retro-80s theme, and ordering is done by QR code. Service is fast and friendly. Highly recommend making the stop if you’re visiting Maui, or even just a local who hasn’t been yet. It’s great!“

All the staff were checking on us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and to see if we needed anything throughout our meal, not just our server. And all of them were so kind and helpful.

Every single dish was perfect, no notes. We had the smashed potatoes, mortadella pizza, a special shrimp and lemon pasta and the olive oil cake with gelato. All the dishes were perfectly balanced and cooked to perfection. I wish I could eat here daily.

“Easy to find food truck in the Lowe’s parking lot. We ordered two ahi plates, and one shrimp plate. They kindly accommodated a request for all salad on one plate. All plates were flavorful, although the ahi was very overcooked. Visited around 3pm on a weekday, only one person in line and still had a long wait for the food. They were kind and apologized for the wait though. Mahalo!“

“One of the food trucks in the Maika’i market in the Maui Mall Village and possibly my favourite meal in Maui. Food is made to order so the pork was crispy, juicy and so tender. The fresh onion, tomato, and vinegar dipping sauce balanced the pork’s richness and fattiness beautifully. The people running it are friendly and clearly care that they are serving great food. Huge portion too - it served as both lunch and dinner! Would love to go back and try more things.“

“Restaurant Matsu is a true hidden gem and now officially one of my favorite spots on Maui! It came highly recommended by locals and now I see why.

As a big fan of udon soup, I had to try theirs with the tempura vegetables, and it did not disappoint. The broth was flavorful and comforting, and the tempura was perfectly crispy. I also grabbed a spamasubi (because, of course!), and it hit all the right notes; simple, satisfying, and packed with local flavor.

The menu is full of tempting options, so it’s definitely a place I’ll be revisiting to try more. The service was friendly and efficient, which made the whole experience even better.

“This is a super cool funky Maui TREASURE! The atmosphere is totally chill. You will meet locals and tourists in this unique and fun pub/restaurant. Bring a dollar bill or two to personalize and hang on the wall with the tens of thousands of others that have visited over the last ~40+ years. The menu is simple and very good. Sandwiches are fresh, delicious, and big enough for the hearty appetite. There is a full bar here too that can serve local beers and crafty cocktails to enhance your meal. Dina's also offers some great hotdog recipes and everything on the menu can be ordered for either dine in or take-away. Located on the shore of Sugar Beach it is a convenient stop to grab a lunch to go or dine in for some cheerful service. Open daily from 11am to 10pm which also makes it a great place to grab an evening cocktail with friends after the beach or day of adventures. Plenty of allowed parking available at Sugar Beach Resort. Highly recommended if you are looking for a low key relaxing and fun place. 👍“

“My son and I saw your IG post for Christmas Eve Prime Rib Family Dinner and we quickly made a reservation. As we walked in we instantly became comfortable, the decor has a coziness to it, but it's all fresh,clean and new. I loved the chandeliers; the green couches look inviting if we had a wait. Everyone and everything was wonderful. We both had your No Buzz Mocktails; they were delicious! The meal was perfect, the Cesar salad i could have a plate of your house made garlic croutons. Our Service was excellent and incredibly friendly, everyone was working harmoniously. We have started a new tradition in our family with yours. MENU:

FOOD:
Chicken Katsu
While this is far from being a Korean dish, it's what I was craving. The two slabs of chicken were breaded and deep-fried to a golden brown, and laid out on 2 scoops of steamed white rice. You can choose 4 banchan sides, in which I got mac salad x2, bean sprouts, and potato mayo. Their katsu sauce is too sweet, which is why I always do takeout so I can use my Kagome-brand sauce from home lol.

Man Doo Kook Soo
This is a Korean version of ramen but was anything but. The rice noodles were a bit overcooked and didn't have any chewiness to it. I like them as a somen dish but not as a noodle soup. The broth was clear, very subtle in flavor, and tasted similar to egg drop soup. The bowl was topped with 4 good-sized pieces of soft mandoo with a tasty pork filling, egg washed shredded pork, and cooked white & green onions. Temperature was hot but not searing. Better than pho but it'd never dethrone a ramen in my world, lol.

SERVICE:
The workers were welcoming and friendly. I got my order in about 10 minutes.
