“Excellent Thai food in Hana. After a long trip from west Maui had a delicious lunch at this local joint. We had the famous pad Thai, sweet n salty noodles wrapped in a delicious slurpable sauce topped with crunchy sprouts n roasted peanuts. Chicken stir fry with cashews had fresh tasting veggies n chicken sautéed in a delicious sauce. Drunken fried rice had a unique taste, tasty n light. Portions are generous 2-3 items are good for a family of 4. Must try spot for fresh n tasty meal served with love.“

“The fish n chips here were SO freaking good. We stopped at the market along the Road to Hana looking for some bbq, but that spot was closed, so we decided to try Island Chef instead. Eric was really nice. The fish was super fresh- perfectly crispy and not too greasy. The lemons came from his garden. Picnic style seating. Highly recommend this place.“

We took a chance and decided we wanted a sit-down option and were blown away with the Hana Ranch! Our party of 9 got a variety of items off of the menu and every single one of us walked away so satisfied. The fish sandwich and mango passion fruit cheesecake was unreal. I ordered the grilled fish meal off of the kids menu for my daughter and the portion size was huge!Another huge plus was the super clean and private bathrooms they had on site.Kid-friendliness: Water was served in a plastic to go cup with a straw to help reduce spills. We also got a colouring page and crayons for her. Kids portions were absolutely huge; great value for money!“

“What a great litttle food truck. After a long ride to Hana ( I'm calling it a lesson on defensive road skills) it was a pleasure to have lunch there. With a twist on the Hawaiian food and fast.. I had the shrimp po boy with fries. and my wife had the fish tacos! Took the advice from yelp fans and it did not disappoint“

“We rented a place nearby and wanted to grab some dinner after a late check-in. We called in a take out order and brought it back to our place. Service was lovely, and the food was simply OUTSTANDING! We had salads, Brussels sprouts, ribs, and hands-down the best burger I’ve ever had…ever. We were not expecting such a fantastic meal last minute in Hana town. However, everything was so good, we would definitely come all the way out here just to get this meal again. Mahalo nui!“
