“There’s a special on hamburgers on TV right now.
I’ve been thinking about the best hamburger I’ve ever had in my life.
As expected, this hamburger I ate on Maui.
The female staff and the food are both amazing“

“Overindulged! The joyful experience of our 36th anniversary dinner will be one that we’ll be chasing over and over again! We were overindulged from the moment we sat down at the table with the most beautiful view, surrounded by soothing live music. The care and concern from each and every staff member was evident, making sure that the best possible bottle of wine for our meal was chosen, that our water glass was never too empty, that each plate delivered was well executed and well presented and explained, when done each time dishes were taken away quickly, the pacing of the meal was well done, just everything and everything! Perfection! And a special note to Sasha- we already noted during our meal service- the finesse and skill you brought to the level of service was just outstanding! Kudos to you and to the team that supports you in making sure that each of your tables gets the attention that they deserve! To say that our anniversary dinner was memorable is truly an understatement! It will be that feeling of being so well taken care of and that every orchestrated element enhanced our celebration will be what brings us back over and over again. We already are making plans to come back and I know we will be coming back over and over again! With our deepest appreciation! …and then the food! Truly the best farm to table experience on Maui! From the amuse buche course(s!) that wet our appetite for more goodies to come. The locally sourced ingredients shined with their freshness and the finesse in which they were presented. Two highlights were the Maui onion soup presented with the perfect amount of cheese and puffed pastry topping- just perfectly seasoned. And then the Haleakala filet mignon, once again perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned and topped with compound butter that was melted at table side with rosemary. (It feels like we are saying perfect too much! But we do mean it!) Then to end the evening celebration with our chocolate lava cake surrounded by white and milk chocolate fondue with banana bread and fresh fruits was simply scrumptious! Chef Junior Ulep, Mahalo for our special night, with our deepest grateful hearts, we appreciate your mana and the joyfulness in which you have chosen to feed us and our fellow patrons at Kula Lodge Restaurant!“

“Breakfast menu was limited but food was excellent! Good portions, great fried potatoes and bacon if you get the egg breakfast. Breakfast sandwich is also amazing. Friendly staff. Be aware that if you’re youngish and looking for some night life while staying at the connected Maui Coast Hotel, this probably isn’t it. Clientele was definitely on the older side.“

“We had a great experience thanks to Jaclyn! She took the time to learn what we both liked and gave us excellent recommendations. She suggested the shrimp salad for me, and I absolutely loved it.
It was fresh, flavorful, and had one of the best dressings I’ve tasted. She also recommended the burger for my husband, and he absolutely loved it as well. “My wife took me here for my birthday and it did not disappoint. Everything was 1st class, from the service, atmosphere, music and especially the food! “We had our Montana State U FCS Div. 1 National championship party at Diamonds and they knocked it out of the ballpark for us! Holly and the crew at diamonds made great food and drinks in spectacular and accommodating environment. We had over 40 people and they made it work with multiple TV’s and sound. It was a great time! Highly recommend diamonds whether it’s a large group or just a small group needing to watch a specific game.“

“What a beautiful hotel! I landed in Maui and had reservations for a different hotel. when I arrived the accommodations were terrible so I canceled that hotel and literally had no place to stay for 8 days! I went to the internet and found Maui Coast Hotel. Thankfully, they had just opened their new tower...and had a BEAUTIFUL 😍 ROOM with an ocean view available! The amenities were simply amazing and the staff was absoutely wonderful. The room..well...it was spectacular! We were the 1st to stay in that room. EVERYTHING WAS BRAND NEW! Beds and linnens were so comfy with extra pillows that were comfy! This property is literally just steps across the street where we had access to the most beautiful beach with the sofest sand and views of the neighboring islands. The food at Kiehi Cafe was great. I would highly recommend their grilled Mahi Mahi tacos and honestly their breakfasts were great too! Just walking distance to several other places including a food truck village! They had live music every night at tge poolside bar! Towels, covers for the lounges, sunscreen and pool toys were available for us to use! At every night they had Great bands at the bar! It was a magical stay. Their service was exceptional. Bikes you can ride with shuttle service 3mi from the hotel if you wanted to do something off property close by. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in Maui and hope to return soon! Thank You Maui Coast Hotel for making our stay wonderful. ❤️.“

“Delicious fresh farm to table food. The tomato soup was divine and the steak, the steak was cooked perfectly. I was in heaven. There was a loud party of ppl which was a little disturbing only bc I was in quiet mode. The hostess graciously moved me, which i really appreciated.“

“Great Eastern European food, ice cold Octoberfest beer on draft as well. Atmosphere is poor. Interior is dated and very hot. Outside is totally dependent on the weather, no view as restaurant is in an industrial park. Overall, would recommend, as tge food is that good.“

“This is a mom and pop restaurant serving breakfast, salads and plates for very affordable prices. The food and setting are not fancy, but you pay about the same or less than for food from the local grocery store. You can get a meal for about 10 to 20 dollars. Very friendly service. A very convenient place for families. We were able to pay with a credit card.“

“I cried good tears this morning. I've never in my life cried because of how divine the food was. I ordered the crab cakes benedict, usually when I order crab cakes it's a hash brown with little bits of crab meat but this one is purely crab and it was so fresh like it was caught in the early hours before restaurant opened. Eggs were cooked to perfection and the hollandaise sauce was heavenly. It was love on a plate, my compliments to the chef! Service was absolutely wonderful, lovely and welcoming ladies. “What a fantastic performance Brenton put on with Mulligan's Magic Show! I had heard about this show from another family we met while horseback riding one day on our trip to Maui and we literally altered our Road to Hana day to be back in time for this show... and we were SO GLAD we did! It was the perfect evening and a nice break away from just seeing the beauty of nature. Brenton was funny, engaging, family friendly, and full of energy but he was also SO talented with his magic! I have a 21 and 18 year old and they were so impressed, laughing most of the night. We caught a couple of his tricks on video and posted them and our Facebook friends were in awe too! This show is WELL worth your time and money, and Mulligans offered fantastic dinner options too. Go see the show if you get the chance - you won't regret it! It's truly... well, "magical". :)“

“It's a bummer that they don't have musubi anymore (bring it back?), but my favorite thing to get when I'm flying out of OGG is a hot dog from this place. I used to get a musubi AND a hot dog. Reliable and friendly, nothing fancy, it's exactly what a hot dog truck in an airport ahould be.“

“We had a great meal at this restaurant which we had booked for 6:30 to get a dinner accompanied by lovely views of the sunset. The Huli Huli chicken, fish and pasta dishes were commendable and our waitress was pleasant and friendly. Our only complaint was in our table which was blinding two of our party due to the strength of the sun. We understand that we went as sunset but as this is the time period that food is served listed on the menu, we would've assumed that our inconvenience would've been dealt with with more proficiency. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the wailea area but please make sure you get a table a little in the shade so you aren't put off by the sun.“

“The Hawaiian pizza was really good! We also had a cinnamon roll and a tasty fruit tarte.
The only point of improvement is the speed of service. The employee was going the best she can to attend to everyones orders. From asking the orders to fulfilling them, she was clearly very busy. However, the line was just slow to move. Grand Wailea needs to seriously consider getting more front of house staff at this location!“

“We needed a place late at night to eat before our flight, and this seemed like one of the best options.
The burgers were satisfying. Nothing special, like something you might have at a friend's BBQ, but they're solid. Fries were pretty great and my wife enjoyed her drink quite a bit.

Service was excellent, our waitress Nancy was quick to help and was regularly checking in on us to see if we needed anything.

Really solid food option, especially compared to most airport restaurants I've been in.“
