“Bridget & Bernard's keeps my vote as the best overall restaurant in Maui. The service is friendly and on point. The food is simply outstanding and the value is there for the quality meals served. The variety of different cuisines also makes this restaurant a place to enjoy. A must place to try on Maui.“

“Always love getting Filipino food when on the island. Lots of traditional dishes, pancit, adobo, and more. They even do an ox tail adobo I want to come back and try later. Nice staff, and lots of seating if you want to have a big group or party.“
“Arguable the best restaurant on Maui ....perhaps Hawaii.“
“After United Airlines cancelled our scheduled flight home nine hours after scheduled departure we were left to our own devices to locate lodging and transportation for the night since the Maui airport essentially closes down at 11 pm and the flight cancellation occurred at 10 pm. Fortunately, my wife was able to get the last two available rooms at the Marriott Courtyard near the airport and we got one of the last two cabs at the airport to transport us. The desk personnel were extremely friendly and understanding. The rooms were large, clean and well laid out. One room complaint though- the toilets are set on very short pedestals so it is painful for older, tall people to sit on the toilet seat. There is a small snack and beverage shop adjacent to the front desk and there is a bar area (closes at 10:30 to 11 pm) which also serves as a breakfast area in the am opposite the front desk. During the day they do have a free shuttle to and from the airport. There is a pool and nice grounds though due to our circumstances we were not around to use them. Room prices are high ($580 plus per room after taxes and fees). Not sure whether that is normal price or due to our circumstances (either way we were happy to have rooms to sleep in).“

“We needed dinner before our flight on a Sunday and other places had a long wait or were closed (lots of restaurants are closed Sundays). Ended up here because they were open and not busy, and we were pleasantly surprised considering it's unassuming appearance from the outside. Really decent prices (I certainly didn't see anywhere else on the island you can get a BLT for $6.50!). Our fried rice with sausage for $15 was the most expensive thing I think, and was a huge portion and delicious! While it's a basic diner without a lot of flair, Sheik's was just what we needed! Fast and friendly service. My only issue was the cleanliness of the washrooms. The windowsill was black with dirt and things like that make you wonder about the cleanliness of other areas of the place.“

“Sammy's Beach Bar & Grill is well decorated, has a nice atmosphere, and has very convenient chargers at the booths (the patio ones, I am not sure about inside).
The food was OK. Portions are fairly small for the price. Even when the restaurant was not very busy, the service was not the greatest (which can be stressful if you are catching a flight and have limited time - thankfully, I had lots of time !!).
All in all, I was very comfortable on their patio and was able to charge my phone while eating a fairly decent meal and wine. Which made me happy! And...I would go back. It's likely the best option in the airport, not quite 5 Star, in my opinion, but absolutely has the potential with better service and larger portions?“
