“Have you ever walked past a place and thought I like this place? (without Googling or Yelp-ing it) the open windows and doors and the high ceilings and nicely spaced seats had that je ne sais quoi. Although we waited awhile to get seated, the service was friendly and our food arrived quickly although we entered the restaurant 45 minutes prior to close time. The food was fresh, delicious and such a great value for money. I had an appetizer scallop and my hubby had the habachi(hibachi?) salmon salad. The scallops had a great umami and creamy sauce. The salad had lovely purple won bok cabbage and sprouts and shallots.“
“The food here isn’t just good; it’s a culinary journey that leaves you craving for more. I have to give a special shoutout to their Braised Maui Short Rib bowl - it’s simply divine. The flavors are rich, the meat falls right off the bone, and every bite is a little piece of heaven.“
“The food was amazing, I recommend the kimchi stew and house steak it was phenomenal. Jarrin was our server and provided excellent service. Come down and check out Ray's, I highly recommend. FYI the food is so excellent that you may need a gurney to roll you outta here.“
“Love their mini cream horns, strawberry florentine cups, bread pudding, crab and chicken salads and pies. Used to like their pasta salad, but I bought one not too long ago and it tasted sour. Possibly because it was the container on the top in a different (new) refrigeration display which is open. I had the crab cake sandwich recently with both the croissant and the grain bread. With the croissant, the sandwich was delicious. With the grain bread, it wasn’t good. The grain bread had a good flavor, but very dry and stale. Overall the food is decent, but quite pricey so not a place we go often.“
“Me and my sister went Saturday 1.6.24 before noon and they were super busy when we walked in and the boss seated us immediately. He's super friendly. Young girl was our server. She's attentive and friendly. The foods were so delicious.Blessings to TC.“
“Stopped here day we landed on Maui because it was open late and had good reviews. First things first, it's in the same parking lot as the gas station, it's a little sign and you might miss it is you're not paying attention. Second thing, they have a full bar so they have something for everyone. The vibe is laidback and chill. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and they were all super friendly. We ordered the mochiko chicken and fried rice to go. It was ala carte so that worked out perfectly. The food was ono and we were not let down with this place! Definitely will be back for drinks soon!“
“We loved it! The ravioli was delicious and the Caesar yummy! Really interesting menu with a Chef's touch. The service was excellent and staff was friendly. They had live music that added to the evening. We will most definitely be back!“
“An epicurean journey. Jeremy and Paulina are great. The hours put into the presentations are easy to see. Let me know when you do a chefs table and I’ll sign up for another trip to Maui. All the dishes were over the top. Honorable Michelin ? Stars ?. In the top three of all our dining experiences throughout the world. Better than Jules Verne for half the price.Price is absolutely worth the experience and the culinary delights. Wine pairings spot on.Great job and happy life!“
“Holly and Justin were a great duo while we we were there. The food was great and timely service. Dirty Mac and cheese is what I had along with a Loco moco and Maui Mike's margaritas.Dietary restrictions: They were answered my questions about my allergie to coconut was really helpful on my decision on what to eat.“
“Your server Faith was gracious, willing to accommodate our special orders very attentive to us without interfering in our conversationBy far the best I have experienced since my return to Maui. She truly is an asset to your establishmentWell done Faith“
“Our review on Marcos grill & deli in kahului maui. It's in a very convenient location on the corner of dairy road and Hana highway right in town. The staff is really nice very attentive. The restaurant smells very delicious when you walk-in.The prices are moderate too expensive. $$$I ordered the Sandy shrimp special it had the linguine and shrimp and keepers and onions and carrots it was pretty nice looking but it needed flavor it needed salt and flavor it was bland I probably wouldn't order this again you know for the price you pay it was a disappointment. My wife ordered the pasta with marinara a very simple dish it was spicy and she doesn't like spicy. My guest ordered the Greek salad and the French onion soup. The onion soup was very salty. That means it was sitting around for a long time on the stove reducing and getting more concentrated so that needed to be freshened up?The Greek salad look delicious very pretty but it didn't have much flavor either. Now the staff was very attentive and the waitress describe the food very vividly and when the food came it didn't taste vivid like the waitress said it did.I heard of tiramisu for dessert and it was huge and there was so much mascarpone that it looked like a lemon meringue pie and on the bottom was the lady fingers marinated in coffee. there was enough room in this desert that you could have had a second layer of lady fingers which probably would have balanced it out.But there was too much mascarpone on top of the tiramisu, it looks like about 2 in of mascarpone on top of the lady fingers which is way too much should have been only an inch high. And the gentleman that made this tiramisu actually came out to the table to you know say oh I made it and so you know he's expecting a lot of compliments. So we just told him we thought he wanted to say. This place has a lot of attitude but the food is really bland and has a lot of room for improvement.I'm sure there are dishes in here that are pretty good but we haven't found it. And with the prices that they're charging you might want to try it but you might be disappointed too so just beware.Mahalo Wes n Wanda - Mililani Hawaii 1-2024Parking: There's a few stalls around the buildingWheelchair accessibility: The front door is small, two doors need to be opened in order for wheelchair to get in the restaurant.“
“Alex is a grill master back there whipping up this very delicious, ‘Great Balls of Fire,’ burger. Already my jewels are on fire just from eating one grilled jalapeño.Katherine is the sweetest server and very easy on the eyes.? She is like a professional sky flying milkshake maker.“
“Brigitte and Bernard's provide great German food, ample portions, at a reasonable price for the Hawaiian islands. The waitress / bartender was very accommodating when the restaurant did not have the hard seltzer I had requested from their menu by mixing for me a delicious Mia Tia. This was our third time at the restaurant, when visiting the island, and, once again it did not disappoint.“
“Standout performance by the culinary whiz-kids at UH-Maui. We had the French meunu which started out just so-so, Both the amuse bouch (a custard with a crisped prosciutto in an egg shell) and the fish quenelles were far too rich for our taste. However, the entrees (scrumptious lamb chops and surprising salmon} were real standouts. The caramel mouse was a perfect ending. The service was very attentive, friendly and very efficient. Only let-down was the overly slow production times which could be helped by slowing the starter courses.“
“This place is a tiny little Cafe in a strip mall, but the food is sooo good. We got omelettes with hash browns, they were huge, perfectly cooked, and diner style. Perfection. And the malasadas are made when you order them so they are hot and fresh and delicious.“
“We needed dinner before our flight on a Sunday and other places had a long wait or were closed (lots of restaurants are closed Sundays). Ended up here because they were open and not busy, and we were pleasantly surprised considering it's unassuming appearance from the outside. Really decent prices (I certainly didn't see anywhere else on the island you can get a BLT for $6.50!). Our fried rice with sausage for $15 was the most expensive thing I think, and was a huge portion and delicious! While it's a basic diner without a lot of flair, Sheik's was just what we needed! Fast and friendly service. My only issue was the cleanliness of the washrooms. The windowsill was black with dirt and things like that make you wonder about the cleanliness of other areas of the place.“
“My wife and I were looking for a local place to grab lunch. This came up on Google Maps and it was a short walk from our cruise ship, so we gave it a try. If we were local, we’d eat here once a week, at least. The food, Shrimp Sari Sari and the Ox Tail soup. Both were outstanding and came with delicious sweet (purple) potato salad. And to top it all off, the staff were friendly and informative. Great experience!!“
“We only came for coffee and ended up getting a strawberry smoothie and coffeeThe house says medium roast but it was strong, which was perfect for me. But others might not like it so strong.Looking at the brothers got the food looks delicious. It is a tiny place with a sweet couple. If you are here, come by and support them.“
