“Booked a late lunch to celebrate our anniversary and it was excellent. The day before we had lunch at the Ritz Burger Shack which was also excellent. The atmosphere at the Burger Shack is a 10 plus and Kapa's is an 8. The service and food at Kapa is 10 plus where the Ritz about an 8. Kapa by far serves the best fish tacos I have had on Maui?“

“One of the nicest experiences on Maui. If you are in the area, it is worth a visit.

Cocktails were excellent and unique. I recommend the Pina on the Rocks, it was an innovative twist on your traditional pina colada and was the best cocktail I had on my visit to Maui.

The food was some of the best we had on our trip. Portions were large and the dishes themselves were a refreshing change to other alternatives nearby. Both of our starters were excellent and our mains were good as well. The only critique for our party was the fish was slightly overdone for the market catch and noodles. **The Mexican fried chicken on the special menu was incredible. It was the highlight in terms of food and I would highly recommend it if it’s available.

Colin, our server and the rest of the wait staff positively contributed to our experience and the overall atmosphere offering great recommendations throughout the evening.

“Chicken potstickers and coconut shrimp both very good. Fish tacos good - can’t say excellent as slightly overcooked and accompanying sauce was not the best I’ve had - a little under-flavored. That said, service was kind, courteous and *unobtrusive* and the view of the sunset cannot be beat. Beautiful setting! We will be back to sample more menu options - like the deep fried pickle chips.“

The two sandwiches cost us less than one cost at a different breakfast spot we went to previously. The restaurant itself isn't very updated, but don't let that fool you!“

Then to end the evening celebration with our chocolate lava cake surrounded by white and milk chocolate fondue with banana bread and fresh fruits was simply scrumptious! “I don't really get the bad reviews. Perhaps things have changed since. We ordered a few things from this place since it was close to our room. We loved everything we ordered. No complaints. In fact i wish we were still there to order again. Food was fresh and had good flavor. Yes it was pricey but that's expected at a resort. Customer service was great.“
