This place was literally repulsive. The room smelled and was filthy. My husband had reserved a room on the 4th floor and they gave us a room on the first floor looking at the parking lot. We asked to move and offered to pay more and the extremely rude front desk people said there were no rooms available. Of course the website said otherwise. Asked to speak to a manager and of course none was available. We ended up leaving. They seemed to think we weren’t going to have any other...read full review
What a beautiful hotel! I landed in Maui and had reservations for a different hotel. when I arrived the accommodations were terrible so I canceled that hotel and literally had no place to stay for 8 days! I went to the internet and found Maui Coast Hotel. Thankfully, they had just opened their new tower...and had a BEAUTIFUL 😍 ROOM with an ocean view available! The amenities were simply amazing and the staff was absoutely wonderful. The room..well...it was spectacular!...read full review

Kihei Caffe Maui Coast Hotel serves breakfast with a large selection of options, including oatmeal bowls, fresh fruit, omelettes, pancakes, steak, and pork chops with eggs. The food is fine, but some dishes can be disappointing, such as the French toast, which is barely soaked and lacks flavor, and the mocha, which tastes like milk. Eggs can be overcooked and potatoes bland. The restaurant is currently being renovated, and seating is by the pool. The service is good considering the current state, but can be confusing due to the ordering system, and staff can be anxious to keep the line moving. The restaurant has a decent amount of space, but lacks decoration and can be a little dark inside. The courtyard area has a nice selection of plants, and the open air area near the street has a nice breeze. Prices are higher than on the mainland, but reasonable for Maui, with most dishes costing around $20. A service fee is added to credit card payments.
