“We ordered the fried green tomatoes, hush puppies, steakhouse burger, and stuffed chicken. All was A+. My sister had the fish and chips which was also delicious. The prices are much better than the surrounding resort restaurants. Service was top knotch. The only thing that slightly bugged me was how loud it is. Either way, I would definitely come again.“
“Best malasadas I ever had! Purple are sweet potato ones and the mango ones. I had malasadas at Oahu and many other places, including most famous places with malasadas and these were by far the absolute best. Two years later, my kids still talk about it. We are heading to Oahu and Kauai from Boston now and I may fly here to just grab a few to bring home! ?“
“As a part of the Waikoloa village, this place is one of the few choices available to Hilton's guests for lunch. Similar to other places in the village, it is very overpriced. That's the main negative point. The view is beautiful. You see the ocean while you dine. The service is timely and friendly. We ordered Poke salad, Fish and chips, and chicken katsu sandwich. The food was good. Well prepared and tasty. The portion size is small. Overall, a good place for a lunch if you don't mind paying too much.“
“The view from the restaurant is gorgeous as it overlooks the lagoon and a waterfall. We saw fish jumping in the lagoon. We had omelettes and potatoes which came in generous portions. The kids had the 3 mini donuts which were a huge hit. They said that they were the best donuts they ever had. They were all both filled and frosted. The service was polite, prompt, and attentive enough. It is, like everything at resorts, very expensive. That is just something that needs to be anticipated.“
“Biggest mistake I made on this vacation was waiting until our last day to come here. I seriously would have wanted to dine here at least 3 more times. Every dish was fantastic and fresh. The beet salad for some reason was my favorite. We ordered all of the desserts and shared and argued about which one was best.“
“Our 2nd time to visit in a week so you know we are fans. The appetizer of Brussels sprouts is OUTSTANDING so we got that again. My husband had the filet, which he loved. It was 5PM on a Sunday & they were out of A1 steak sauce. I had the Bungalow salad & it was excellent. The hot rolls & butter are amazing. Our guest had the Creole shrimp & crab pasta dish & she enjoyed it as well. Key Lime Pie is a must for dessert - tangy & delicious. Our server, Tara, is wonderful, attentive & helpful with suggestions. We had requested to be in her section again & was fortunate enough to be able to sit in a booth that she handled. Overall, a wonderful meal & we will be back.“
“Glad I dropped by this spot a few minutes away from the beach. I ordered the Twin fin burger and Tsunami fries. Both packed with flavor and have island/surf themed menu items in this tiny restaurant that can seat 8 people at most. I'll definitely come back again if I get the chance! Have to add that it was a bit pricey and spent around $27 for the double patty burger and Tsunami fries. Lastly the lady wasn't really helpful when I was trying to figure out the self order kiosk. For some reason the meal options didn't match the menu on the wall.“
“This place is huge, and the food is pretty good. I had a Caesar salad and their garlic butter filet mignon bites. Hubby had the Baja Fresh fish tacos. This place is part of the theater next door. Food was great, outdoor atmosphere, TVs in the restaurant. Service was attentive. Would return.“
“Had a good time here listening to some music performances. The setup is pretty cool open air with food and drinks available. Staff were all very attentive and fun. Food was tasty and not a terrible wait like mentioned in another review. They have special procedures if it is a big/busy night and the staff will give you instructions. Read them :)“
“We had a chance to dine here twice during our visit to the Big Island in February 2024. On our first visit, we had great food, drinks, and service. To top it all off, they even provided a wonderful sunset! Although the depth of the menu was rather small, we all found something on the menu we liked. The food was well portioned. Our second meal was just as good as our first, although without the sunset. On a side note, I was very disappointed that the clothing did not come in 3XL.“
