“This is a really solid Asian fusion spot! I’ve tried some pretty weird “Asian fusion” restaurants before, but this one is actually very well-balanced and flavorful. The dishes lean a little on the sweeter. The butterfish especially reminded me of Japanese grilled eel，rich, tender, and slightly sweet.“

“My husband and I stayed several days for his 50th birthday. Surprise to us at check-in they had upgraded our room to an oceanfront room.., completely complimentary. It was hands down the best experience we have ever had. From the friendly staff, to the amazing meals and all the beautiful views inside and outside the resort. Mahalo! Mauna Lani!“

“My coworker has taken us here a couple times so far to get some ice cream for a midday treat. Today I got their oreo cheesecake ice cream. It was super creamy and had both the cheesecake and oreo flavors I love and enjoy. I believe last time I got the butter pecan and it did not disappoint either. Definitely stop in to support a local business!“

“Totally awesome authentic burger place. My only regret was not ordering another burger. My sister had the Surf Burger and I had the Hi-Heat. On the drive back to our hotel, we just randomly kept saying what a great burger those were. Honestly surprised we didn’t turn around and go back for more.“

“Kawika was an amazing bartender/server. He kept our drinks full, kept us laughing, and was super attentive. He described the lobster fried rice and made it sound so good that we decided to order it. “Loved our dinner at Browns Beach House! Ambiance was great, especially our seat right along the lawn (unobstructed view of the sunset) and the live music. Our server, Liana, was excellent and very personable. I enjoyed my chicken entree and champagne. My husband had a delectable coconut/cacao cocktail and a fish entree - mahi mahi. It was such a lovely evening. Very memorable, especially those delicious rolls!“

“We had the most incredible experience at Meridia while celebrating our wedding anniversary! From the beautiful atmosphere and breathtaking views to the amazing food and service, everything about our evening was perfect.
We ordered the crudo, caprese, catch of the day, Brussels sprouts, and mushrooms, and every single dish was absolutely delicious! You can truly tell how much thought and care goes into the food. We also had the pleasure of meeting Chef Soto, who was so incredibly kind and welcoming. It was such a special touch to our evening!
Our server was equally wonderful, so friendly, funny, and attentive throughout the entire dinner. They even surprised us with a special anniversary dessert, which was so thoughtful and made our celebration even more memorable.
Between the stunning views, exceptional food, and genuinely wonderful people, this was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Hawaii. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you to Chef Soto and the entire Meridia team for making our evening so special! We will absolutely be back whenever we return to the Big Island!“
