“Fantastic food. I had the ribeye chimichurri and it was very good. Drinks were on point, and dessert put me over the top. Left wabbling out of the restaurant back to our condo. Service was also very good. I read some reviews on the service so I was expecting something not as good. But at least for my visit, the service and food were great. We also go a seat looking at the lake with a nice sunset.“

“Good place to get decent value out of your daily gold/diamond status credit for burgers the day you arrive. After that, I would say you should just use it to get drinks (particularly to use that daily credit if you aren’t using it elsewhere) and eat elsewhere. You can watch the dolphins from the patio or look out into the lagoon/bay, very pretty.“

“We shared the Brussel sprouts and bbq ribs w/lilikoi bbq sauce pupus. That plus a couple of cold beverages and a beautiful big island sunset made for a very pleasant evening in this hotel restaurant. 3/26 update - new menu meant no bbq ribs but we found the fish and chips and huli huli chicken to be excellent!“

“We miss you in Hawi so when we did an unplanned trip to Waimea today and saw then smelled the smoke, it was on! You never disappoint, ate half a chicken in the parking lot then the other half for dinner. Fantastic grinds, mahalo!“

“Asked if he would substitute grilled fish for the fried shrimp on their salad, and he said sure. Best $15 I've spent on the island. They are take out only, so brought it down to the nearest park to eat. The view is definitely 5 star atmosphere. If you're looking for a good meal at a good price, this is the place.“

“We are here 30 minutes before closing. The fried fish is incredible and I recommend trying it. Our food was served fast, fresh and hot. Minus 1 star because the employee started mopping the floor around us 5 minutes before they were scheduled to close. We got the hint and left immediately.“

“Kawika was an amazing bartender/server. He kept our drinks full, kept us laughing, and was super attentive. He described the lobster fried rice and made it sound so good that we decided to order it. “We didn’t stay here, we only came for dinner at the restaurant, but the experience was great. The view is incredible, we watched the sunset and it was absolutely beautiful. Even with the wind, we were still very comfortable while eating. Everything was delicious and the service was very friendly. It’s definitely on the expensive side, but totally worth it.“

“Delicious! The best Kalbi ribs I’ve eaten in Hawaii and beyond. They know what they are doing in the kitchen here. I recommend the Kalbi and the meat jun. we also had an incredible side dish made with a local vegetable. One of our best meals!“

“The views are stunning! Absolutely loved the scenery at this restaurant. The food was ok, but nothing special - it lacked a lot of seasoning. The only food item that was really spectacular was the Bombe Alaska.

It seemed they were understaffed. We had to ask for water a few times and our server was constantly running around but hardly had any time for us, although he was very kind and had good recommendations. I think each waiter had more than 10 tables to wait on... They were not properly staffed. We felt bad for him and it created a less than impressive service experience.“

“The performers were excellent. Atmosphere/setting was nice.

The food was good, but when its windy... you will add nature to your food. Desserts were average at best.

The service was not good. Seating was uncomfortable. No good direction to find the area.

Super expensive. The drinks are not included. In my opinion the total price is not worth the package outside of great performers and history.“

“This is a wonderful place to eat for breakfast, with the most breathtaking views! Try the island fried rice, it’s worth the upcharge! My servers were all great, but my favorite person was Ginger who was the hostess. She has the best personality and is quite funny! Thank you for the great experience!“

“Good food at a good value. I had the BBQ mix combo plate which has beef, chicken, and pork along with rice and macaroni salad. My wife had a teriyaki beef bowl. Both were excellent and large portions. Fountain machine was not great - the Diet Pepsi tasted off. You are permitted one refill from the fountain machine but I recommend going with a canned drink. Seating is in a food court but if the weather is good you can sit outside.“

“Underrated experience all around, in my opinion. This fit the vibe of my wife and I better than The Manta did during our stay at the Mauna Kea. It's relaxed but still polished with great atmosphere. The octopus pictured was great and also a much larger portion than expected. Copper Bar also served me the best burger I've had in Hawaii with local beef (not pictured). Great cocktails too. I was into the Tahitian limeade.“
