“Large lunch plate option for a good price. I tried the bbq combo which came with ribs, chicken, flank steak, Mac and cheese and rice. Wish there was a small salad option just for some greens within the lunch plate. But overall great value for how much food is provided. Perfect stop for lunch during beach day.“

“Great food. Heard pancakes were large. They weren’t kidding. Two was too much but they were delicious. It is cash only. They have an ATM on premise but my card didn’t work. So walked across the street to the Long Drug Store and used their ATM.“

“We miss you in Hawi so when we did an unplanned trip to Waimea today and saw then smelled the smoke, it was on! You never disappoint, ate half a chicken in the parking lot then the other half for dinner. Fantastic grinds, mahalo!“

“Asked if he would substitute grilled fish for the fried shrimp on their salad, and he said sure. Best $15 I've spent on the island. They are take out only, so brought it down to the nearest park to eat. The view is definitely 5 star atmosphere. If you're looking for a good meal at a good price, this is the place.“

“Just under $16 for a Regular chicken katsu meal and a Small beverage (which is more of a Large to me, personally)
Chicken was crispy, although I wish it had some kind of seasoning. Portion size was massive and I wasn't able to eat even half of it.“

“Kawika was an amazing bartender/server. He kept our drinks full, kept us laughing, and was super attentive. He described the lobster fried rice and made it sound so good that we decided to order it. It was delicious!!!!! Then he sold us the mud pie and again it was a winner. Thank you Kawika for your knowledge, aloha, and hospitality“

“Loved our dinner at Browns Beach House! Ambiance was great, especially our seat right along the lawn (unobstructed view of the sunset) and the live music. Our server, Liana, was excellent and very personable. I enjoyed my chicken entree and champagne. My husband had a delectable coconut/cacao cocktail and a fish entree - mahi mahi. It was such a lovely evening. Very memorable, especially those delicious rolls!“

The food was good, but when its windy... you will add nature to your food. Desserts were average at best.
The service was not good. Seating was uncomfortable. No good direction to find the area.
Super expensive. The drinks are not included. In my opinion the total price is not worth the package outside of great performers and history.“
“This is a wonderful place to eat for breakfast, with the most breathtaking views! Try the island fried rice, it’s worth the upcharge! My servers were all great, but my favorite person was Ginger who was the hostess. She has the best personality and is quite funny! Thank you for the great experience!“

“Service excellent. Bronson our server was very patient and answered All my questions. Everyone had a fish entree. Ono, ahi, amber jack all superb! Bronson suggested a Chablis with the amber jack. Great choice. Mauna Kea, Manta did not disappoint.“

“The food impressed us we read the menu well. I think some of the other reviews did not understand it. Ask questions for sizes and what it is you are ordering if uncertain. :) staff and everyone was super friendly. We even brought our 7month to the dinner and everything went better than expected. Good food, good people, good vibes.“

“My husband and I stayed several days for his 50th birthday. Surprise to us at check-in they had upgraded our room to an oceanfront room.., completely complimentary. It was hands down the best experience we have ever had. From the friendly staff, to the amazing meals and all the beautiful views inside and outside the resort. Mahalo! Mauna Lani!“
