About Hawaiian Style Cafe

The Hawaiian Style Cafe offers a delightful dining experience with its recently renovated, light, and airy interior. Renowned for its exceptional pancakes, the cafe serves fluffy, delicious pancakes that are a must-try. The restaurant also offers generous portions of Portuguese sausage and eggs with vibrant orange yolks, as well as large, fluffy pancakes served with butter. The hash brown portions are also generous. While the pricing is reasonable, there is a chance of wasting food due to the large portions.

The cafe is known for its wide selection of options, including banana mac nut pancakes and loco mocos taken to the next level, with hamburger patties, cutlets, sausage, and other proteins. Egg and meat plates that include two starches, such as hash browns and a pancake or waffle, are also popular choices. The service is quick, and the staff is friendly and attentive, keeping cups filled and smiles flowing. Despite the usual line, customers can simply add their name to the waitlist at the front door and receive a text when their table is ready.

This is a popular local breakfast. We came around 8 and there was already a line outside. But we didn't have to wait long, maybe 10 mins. Beware that their breakfast size is HUGE. We ordered 3 breakfast items - bacon and cheeseburger omelet, vocano omelet, and 14 oz rib eye steak and egg . They came with two sides: hashbrown/ rice And pancake/ waffle/ toast. And their side pancake is two pancakes bigger than my face. For 4 people we ordered 3 item and still had to bring some food...read full review

Flew up for the weekend and seen and heard good things about their breakfast. This was honestly the best meal of our visit to the island. The eggs was perfect, the haupia pancakes were delicious and the portions were so huge you could get two meals out of one order. Went with a fam of four and all our meals were excellent. Would definitely recommend. Bring your appetite.

A local gem. We drove 25 mins here from the Fairmont and it did not disappoint. Huge servings and the loco moco hit the spot. Breakfast was so good we ordered lunch to go!
