“Locally owned and operated family restaurant. Fair prices, healthy portions, properly cooked food, good service, and clean environment. I would definitely recommend to anyone. I had the Loco Moco plate and my family had the breakfast plates plus a cheeseburger. Bacon was delicious. Eggs cooked perfectly over medium. Burgers cooked through and not burnt. I wanted to add a little salt and hot sauce to my plate but it was good without as well.“

“We visited Randy’s Huli Chicken on September 12. Ordered the chicken plate, mac salad, and a loaf a of banana bread. It was all so very good!! From those with me who had the chicken: “Some of the best I’ve ever had.” We highly recommend!!“

“Kaaloa’s Super Js is as authentic Hawaiian as they come and delivers simple classic kalua pig and laulau. Prices are reasonable. The pork laulau is outstanding and melts in your mouth. It leaves you wanting another bite. Splurge for the guava cake. A true gem of a spot!“

“Great night celebrating my Dads visit to Kona. Da Bomb fries and Kona fish tacos were delicious. Service was friendly and attentive, Widdy Loo - entertained- the beautiful Kona sunset was spectacular! Thanks for a wonderful evening!“

“The food was okay but since we ordered it delivered, it took time to get here and in that time the fries lost a lot of their crispness - same with the Korean fried chicken I got. Not the restaurant’s fault but even aside from that the food was mid. I’d make sure to eat everything right away in the future and consider trying something different.“

“If I went there for the kava alone, I would have given 3 stars. The "potent" kava was not so potent and barely did anything to relax any of us. We bought one bowl and shared it between 4 people. I don't mind the taste, but keep in mind it that it tastes like dirt water.

The kalua pig was good and cooked just right. The garlic bread didn't have much flavor.“

“This place should be featured on Triple D for sure. It's more dive than anything but the food was fantastic! We had the Hawaiian BBQ pork plate and the Seafood Combo. I love that the seafood combo plate also includes your choice of meat in addition to the fish and shrimp. I got the BBQ chicken option. The caramelization on the chicken is magic for sure. There's so much meat served it can feed a whole family. Everything comes with sticky white rice and macaroni salad, both of which are delicious, too. Being from the mainland, we had to also try the Masubi with Spam. I recommend this place for a meal when you're very hungry.“

“Been to this spot a number of times, the recent establishment is quick, due to a self serve kiosk. Good poke and probably the best brown rice I have ever had.

Parking: Limited free spots at the establishment. Paid parking lot down road is available, but expensive. There are some free spots on the road a few blocks up, but normally taken. Just plan a nice day with a stop here and it will all work out.“

“This was a great place to eat. The food tasted amazing (definitely certified ono aka delicious) and very filling. The staff was friendly and the service was relatively quick. All of the ingredients were fresh. It was very close to the ocean and local shops, and there was a bathroom inside (which was an extra bonus if you've been out and about). I would definitely recommend it to others!“

“USE THE WILLIE’S HOT CHICKEN ADDRESS! We used the address on the Google listing and the GPS took us in the industrial area on the other side. HiCo is located right next to the chicken restaurant mentioned above and much easier to find this way. There is free street parking.

Super cute place. Amazing coffee. We had the iced Lilikoi latte and it was one of the best I’ve ever had in my life. I also had the salmon lox, absolutely delicious. I will say while this was a great stop and we loved the coffee, we were disappointed that they don’t have more breakfast options. I saw a photo in a review with a breakfast burrito and we planned to stop here for something quick on the way to a tour. It’s more of a coffee date type spot to just chill and sip and enjoy. They even have a sign up that says “we are not a fast food restaurant, everything is made fresh after placing your order. Please be patient.” So if you’re in a hurry, I don’t recommend getting any food here, coffee only. It was served quickly.

That being said we will for sure be coming back for the Lilikoi latte before we leave town!“

“Best poke on the big island. Wife and I have tried 3 or so other places with poke and this was the best. They close at 5 so get in before they shut down! They share a building with Paradise Bakery which seems like a terrific 1-2 punch(bakery was closed when we went)“

“I have always loved the smell of coffee, but unfortunately could not get past the acidic taste. Kona coffee café introduced me to Peaberry Kona coffee. This is the first time that I have ever been able to drink coffee let alone really enjoy it. The friendly staff explained how the volcanic soil and the timing of picking the bean changed the acidity in the coffee. Since being home, I’ve already placed an order and I am enjoying my coffee every morning. Thank you so much for introducing me to this amazing drink!“

“Our first time here and our lunch was delicious. We tried Da Moco Deluxe, Short ribs, & macadamia nut pancake. I subbed the rice on my short ribs to try their local fried rice. The only thing I wouldn't order again is the fried rice. It's supposed to have diced ham, Portuguese sausage & green onions. There is very, very little diced ham & Portuguese sausage. But plenty of green onions . But overall, it wasn't very flavorful or worth it. But we would def come back again for everything else we tried.“

“Loko Wraps actually helped cater our wedding of ~50 people and we can not speak highly enough about how much we and our guests enjoyed everything we ordered! A handful of our guests loved our taco bar so much, they ended up going back to Loko Wrap’s storefront the next day for lunch! We ordered a handful of different veggie and meat fillings, sides, sauces and toppings. The ceviche, BBQ jackfruit and shoyu chicken are AMAZING. Mike was super friendly over the phone and helped us put together a delicious menu that our guests all loved. Highly recommend Loko Wraps for catering, you will not be disappointed!“

“The poke was spectacular. The parking, not so much!!

I really enjoyed the poke, and they had a lot of unique meats and options. I don't think there was anything cooked - it was mainly raw seafoods and such. You'll love it if you're an adventurous eater.

The only complaint is that the parking lot is so tiny - it fits like 10 cars, but it is very difficult to get out. Don't park in this parking lot if you are a newer driver, if you don't have a rear view camera, or if you're uncomfortable in small spaces. You may be able to park on the sides of the streets instead.

“We were looking for some late evening food away from the main downtown area and decided to give this place a try. We ordered spam musubi, chicken wings, a BBQ mixed plate and a bento plate. Portions were great, the mac salad was the best we had tried all week, musubi was big and the meat and fish was flavorful. It was our favorite find of the week & a completely different vibe than what we had experienced the rest of the week. We took our food to go and ate back at our place. It was great. We'll definitely be back.“
