I haven't stayed at this hotel, but enjoy the delicious local food in the restaurant. I especially love to eat their famous pork chops and homemade hamberger steaks. The hotel will soon close but i heard the restaurant will remain open. If you want some good local grinds when up mauka, you gotta stop by Managos.
Always a reliable and relaxing treat to stay here. The staff is warm and welcomes you like family, and the comfy-food breakfast at the restaurant is something I look forward to. Highly recommended. Rooms are simple and don't have heat/cooling but they're clean, reliable, and best bang-for-the-buck option this side of the Big Island. The oldest motel/restaurant to visit on the big island. It's restaurant offer pork chops, steaks and different fish. Check their times, they are closed Monday and Tuesdays. Parking is across the street.
