“Despite how it may seem, there is tables for dine-in available. Homemade lemonade has a unique flavor, but very good. Food came out reasonably quickly. Chips weren’t too salty. Pork chops were great, especially for someone who hasn’t had pork chops before. Recommended for any size groups. Very casual Mexican restaurant.“

The larb was good i had cilantro red onion added but needs more toasted rice powder, mint would brighten it up. And the papaya salad was great with red onion and cilantro mixed in. “This Jamaican food truck next to the gas station was amazing! I ordered the oxtail rice and the jerk plate, and both were absolutely delicious. The food was mildly spicy, the sauces were full of flavor, and everything tasted very authentic. It was my first time trying Jamaican food, and I really loved it. Highly recommend tourists stop by and give it a try!“

“From California visiting and we decided to just walk around and see what sounded good. Saw sushi and decided to stop in. They have a huge menu with Japanese and Chinese food options. I’ve been obsessed with craw fish and seafood boils and was shocked to see crawfish on the menu so I had to order it and let me tell you the spicy crawfish is the best I have ever had. I’ve eaten crawfish from so many different places in the bay to the central California and this place topped them all. Perfect amount of spicy might stop by again for dinner before leaving but def give this place a try the Chinese food is bomb!“

“Previous to this I had poke one time and didn’t like it. I followed the advice of a fellow tourist who said I had to try Da Poke Shop and if I didn’t like that then I truly don’t like poke. Well, after my visit I can say I really like poke! Da Poke Shop was great! I had the bowl, and got a scoop of spicy garlic and shop special with a side of seaweed salad and white rice. It was awesome! I’ll be back the next time I’m in the area. Eat here, you won’t regret it!“

“We ate here after 12 hours of traveling and could not have been happier. The service was so friendly and outdoor seating with tiki torches and a view of the water was great. My son isn’t always the most adventurous eater but he asked to try the clams from my seafood stew and pronounced that he “loves clams more than pizza”. It was his first time trying it. He had the kid’s grilled cheese with fries, and myself and my friend had the Crabby Patties crab cakes, cocktails, fish n chips and seafood stew. Everuthing came out quickly, hot and fresh. We chose this restaurant as it was close to where we would be doing the Manta Ray Swim and where others that were golfing at Kona Country Club were close as well. The food was delicious. I think we had a little of everything at our table. Sweet chili wings, fries, Chicken Teriyaki, Seafood Pasta, Fish Tacos, are just a few of the items our crew enjoyed! Oh, and the Chocolate cake was amazing! Our sever, Cherlynn (I hoped I spelled it right) was absolutely outstanding! While we were at dinner our swim was canceled. We were a little bummed but her attitude, personality, and spirit was just what we needed! She truly has the kindest soul and a great resprentation of Aloha. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Awa ( Hawaiian Cava)- was unique, it is made from the root of pepper plant . It is an acquired taste , so very glad we tried it. We drank our bowl.

CHICKEN LAU LAU- the greens , Butterfield combo was great. Kimchi being a good accompaniment. This was a good satisfying bowl of food. Comes with - purple sweet potato, greens butter fish n chicken, 2 balls of rice topped with furikake, kimchi.

Sweet potato in coconut milk- this was a disappointment. We couldn't eat it. The root veggie was bland, the coconut milk was not seasoned. I had eaten something similar to this in a luau with coconut cream and loved it. This dish here was sub par.“

“I love this place for happy hour. $2 off the mai tais, which isn't a lot, but they are sizable and delicious. Sitting by the swimming pool with the ocean in the background is the cherry on top. We got the wings with sauce on the side which were great... deep fried and crunchy.“

“Good service, nice staff, great food. They let me order a half size pasta plate, which I didn't even realise was an option until she suggested it. Lava cake wasn't exactly what we were expecting, but that's okay. One of our favorite restaurants from our trip.“

“Beautiful setting, delicious food, and such a great team. We enjoyed Voyagers so much that we came back twice during our trip!

On our first visit, I had the fish & chips, which were excellent. The fish was breaded with panko, giving it a perfect, light crunch. I’m now convinced all fish & chips should be prepared this way! I also loved the local influence of using opakapaka rather than the more traditional mahi-mahi. The fish had fantastic flavor and was cooked beautifully.

On our second visit, I went for the Cubano made with kalua pork, and everything about it worked. Great bread, tons of flavor, tender pork, and perfectly cooked fries. Everyone in our group was happy with their food both times.

The setting is another reason to come. Voyagers sits right at the edge of the bay, making it perfect for a daytime lunch or happy hour. In the evening, the torches are lit, and when we visited, there was wonderful live music that completely changed the atmosphere. It’s mostly outdoors with plenty of room to spread out, so you really get to enjoy being in Kona.

A special shoutout to Eric, who took such great care of us. He was incredibly accommodating, had a great attitude, and was genuinely fun to be around. We even ran into him again around town, which was a nice surprise! Our server a few nights later was equally awesome, although unfortunately I didn’t catch his name. We were a huge party there on Saturday night until close, and he did a terrific job patiently handling the group.

“Staff was excellent and friendly. Fast service and on top of everything when it came to our food and drinks. Decor is cool and the food was excellent, plus the night we were there, there was live music which made us stay longer and get more drinks. Also a great spot for the sunset too!“
