“Excellent food and service. We dream about these burgers each time we leave the Big Island. Can get very busy for lunch, I would suggest getting there right around opening or wait a bit until the traditional lunch window is over. Highly recommend.“

“I’m not usually a big fan of self-service but as a business owner, I totally get you need to do what you need to do. The screen interface is always working everytime we’ve come and it’s so quick and easy to use. So, you know what? What matters most is their PIZZA ROCKS!!! Consistently! There aren’t very many places in Waikaloa that we would even eat anymore (usually just buy groceries and cook for ourselves in the rental), but this is one of the rare few! It’s not just the toppings and various delicious flavor combos, but the crust is a big deal. Our family loves the WHOLE pizza here!“

“We love all the Roy’s locations! And this one was also outstanding. Service is always impeccable, and the food is delicious. After finishing off the complimentary edamame, definitely get the rib appetizer to start, and then any of their fish dishes are guaranteed to be good. This time I got the Huli Huli chicken which was so flavorful and came with kimchi and fried rice. The cocktails/mocktails and desserts are also worth saving room for. Plus, they gave us a complimentary dessert for our special occasion with a heartfelt congratulations. When we left, the chefs all waved and thanked us. We had such an amazing time.“

“We had their special Mother's Day, buffet brunch and there was a great selection of food available, including an omelette station, prime rib, crab, sushi, salad, etc. Everything tasted very fresh and the brunch included bottomless mimosas. While it was a buffet, our server, Krystine, was very much on top of things, keeping an eye out for us. She was exceptional. There was a capable duet providing live background pop music. Tables were far enough removed that it wasn't too loud. It was a little warm because the air conditioner was malfunctioning, but not unpleasantly so. All in all, a very successful Mother's Day celebratory brunch, and I would recommend it, if the price is right for you.“

That plus a couple of cold beverages and a beautiful big island sunset made for a very pleasant evening in this hotel restaurant. 3/26 update - new menu meant no bbq ribs but we found the fish and chips and huli huli chicken to be excellent!“
