“We had the Carnitas and Burrito Grande Vegan. Portions were more than enough for one serving each. The food was just very fresh. The menu selection was excellent. Ample parking. The service was very informative and polite. With more than ample parking. We can’t wait to go back.”
“Delicious food. Great atmosphere, great service, great drinks. Aloha vibes. Coming back on every vacation in Waikoloa several times. We highly recommend this place!!”
“My wife and daughter accompanied me to Johnny's for lunch. My wife and I specifically went for corned beef and cabbage on Saint Patrick's day while my daughter, who lives in Hawaii had a braised beef sandwich. The food and service was top notch. Our corned beef came with cabbage of course and small white potatoes, carrots and a green. My daughter's sandwich came with homemade potato chips. It turned out she liked my potatoes better, so I ate her chips and she ate my potatoes and carrots. The chips were perfectly fried and had very little salt. I stopped eating when they were gone. Our waitress brought us a breakfast menu when we were done eating and it looks great. We intend to go back for breakfast before we return home. I hope that we get the same waitress because she was wonderful.Dietary restrictions: Some gluten free items on menu .Kid-friendliness: Restaurant tends to be open air on a golf course.”
“Instagram: KonaFoodieAmazing food and variety at the “Aloha Wine Bar” located inside the @islandgourmetmarkets at the @queensmarketplace ?? Such nice staff and delicious options!”
“You'll find Emma's tucked alongside three other restaurants. Just ring the bell if no one is in front. The kare-kare is a bit bland but otherwise decent. The Balabok has unique flavor but nothing to write home about. The pork & peas my daughter loved. Thr meat is melt in your mouth. But comes with potato salad and not lettuce salad. The Hawaiian plate also had potato salad. My son liked it but I think the pork needs a bit more smoke flavor. The calamansi is unique but too sugary.”
“Don’t let the foodcourt part of this great place bother you. In fact, their shrimps were much better than famous food truck shrimp! Plump and perfect shrimp topped with savory sauce totally surprised us all in a positive way.”
“We had a chance to dine here twice during our visit to the Big Island in February 2024. On our first visit, we had great food, drinks, and service. To top it all off, they even provided a wonderful sunset! Although the depth of the menu was rather small, we all found something on the menu we liked. The food was well portioned. Our second meal was just as good as our first, although without the sunset. On a side note, I was very disappointed that the clothing did not come in 3XL.”
“Best malasadas I ever had! Purple are sweet potato ones and the mango ones. I had malasadas at Oahu and many other places, including most famous places with malasadas and these were by far the absolute best. Two years later, my kids still talk about it. We are heading to Oahu and Kauai from Boston now and I may fly here to just grab a few to bring home! ?”
“This is my favorite place to get fish and chips on the island. I make it a point to go at least once every time I come to the Big Island. My friend had the crab cakes and said they were delicious, as well. Fair prices and yummy food. There is a gazebo with ample seating if you choose to sit by the man-made lake and enjoy your treats. Be aware of the birds who have obviously been fed by previous patrons-they don't really bother you, but they do fly around and sometimes give you the side-eye for not feeding them.Parking: Lots of parking for the Kings Shopping centerKid-friendliness: They have a small Keiki menu.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to get to the restaurant.”
“BayClub in Waikoloa Hawaii. Been coming to this timeshare as my home resort now managed by HGV. Fell in love with Big Island over 25 years ago and purchased BayClub. BayClub is excellent maintained and updated by HGV since then. I come for two weeks every odd year with my children since they were born. They too love this place like second home as I do. Many wonderful memories and the most breathtaking Mountain View's and nightly sunsets and truly inspiring nighttime star gazing at BayClub or making the hour plus drive to MaunaKeaYes Hawaii is very expensive and I plan and budget for it. Hope I can continue to visit BayClub now that I'm retiring in another year. Highly recommend BayClub for those seeking wonderful relaxing time and place to capture and discover lifetime memories”
“We have always started and ended our vacation with roy's. Why? The staff is consistent, the food - off the chart and it is always a treat to be helped by Arnie's team. They recognize the r&rs (regulars and returns) and you are made to feel like family. Courtney is the bomb...she gets it as do the other bartenders...we love to mix the happy hour menu with full menu. Such good food. We leave thinking we cant wait to return.”
“I just had the best customer service experience at the Waikoloa & Kona (Henry St.?) stores. I screwed up my online order & the manager at the Waikoloa store went above and beyond to help me out. Aside from good pizza srevice like this would bring anyone back!!Parking: Open air”
“Delicious food, served quickly and convenient phone menu and ordering. Fun selection of island birds hanging around, if you are a birder or animal lover. Great place to see the rosy cheeked love birds that live on the island. Bottomless coffee would have been nice!”
“Nice casual place. Our waiter, Arnold, who was also the bartender, was really nice and pleasant. The fish in the fish and chips was good, I was not a fan of the cornmeal batter, though.”
“Had 3 GOATS (greatest of all time) in one meal here: Octopus, Brussels Sprouts, and house Limoncello. Do not miss this experience. Jason and the staff are amazing as well, and will do anything they can to make your experience as memorable as ours was.”
