“Loved our time here. Someone shared this in our local Facebook group so we came to try. Beer was ice cold in a goblet glass. Served by the lovely bartendress bri. “Underrated experience all around, in my opinion. This fit the vibe of my wife and I better than The Manta did during our stay at the Mauna Kea. It's relaxed but still polished with great atmosphere. The octopus pictured was great and also a much larger portion than expected. Copper Bar also served me the best burger I've had in Hawaii with local beef (not pictured). Great cocktails too. I was into the Tahitian limeade.“

“The hau tree got a huge upgrade when Mauna Kea remodeled. The kitchen is much larger, almaing meals quicker. And they changed the dinner menu to have a Mexican focus. We love Mexican food and this is really well done. Sinaloa chicken and the Tijuana Caesar are two of our favorites. And the location, right on the beach, has always been impossible to beat.“

“Not sure what others are having issues with...I thought the food, service, and atmosphere were awesome. The Volcano roll was absolutely amazing! I got the grilled prawns and pork belly fried rice. Everything was delicious, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The prawns come out on its own little mini hot grill that stay super warm while eating the other portions of the meal! Would strongly recommend!“
