Food is good but the hard pivot into a very limited selection of Mexican food was certainly… a choice. Hoping they expand the selection and add a lot more variety. Otherwise half a cantina’s worth of food is gonna wear thin fast.
Definitely recommend the fish sandwich 10/10 🤙🏻

The service is generally good, although there can be long gaps where drinks aren’t refilled or plates aren’t cleared. The staff strives to provide great service, and while the food may feel somewhat uninspired at times, it still remains tasty, especially the catch of the day and the burger with jalapeño sauce. Portions are on the smaller side, and wine is served in plastic glasses, which is expected at a beach location, although some glasses have had a strange smell. Hau Tree is currently undergoing renovations, but this does not significantly impact the overall experience. The restaurant validates parking, allowing guests to enjoy the beach afterward or order takeout during their visit. The friendly staff enhances the experience with great recommendations, making it a memorable place for a relaxed meal while taking in the gorgeous sunset.
