“We were swimming, and relaxing down the sidewalk trail at Kapalua Bay Beach. It was a very pretty 3 minute walk up to this bar. We had all of our beach gear (chairs, towels, cooler, bags) and they got us ice water as soon as we sat at the bar. Followed by great hospitality, and the menus.

They had just opened 2o mins prior. The bartender that helped us, was really friendly and kept up great conversation. We are from Oregon, and talked sports with him. He took great care of us for the 2 rounds we ordered.

He also told us to help ourselves to the free sunscreen near the resort pools, so we definitely took him up on that offer before we left. It was THE BEST service and views! Mahalo and blessings! Get the Pina Colada, or do what I did and ask them to surprise me. So, so good.“

“The first meal I had in Hawaii was at the restaurant inside the Montage Resort. After a long day of travel, we were looking to relax and grab some good food and the Hideaway was exactly what we needed. The staff is super friendly and helped us pick out some dishes to try.

The Ahi Poke here was one of my favorite I had in Hawaii which I think is a bit surprising looking back, but the furikaka rice crackers that were served with the Ahi poke were amazing. I also loved the lobster mac which had an insanely good manchego cheese sauce and tender lobster through the dish. The Shishito peppers are a great app to share, an easy mild spice option for anyone.“

“Oh Em Gee. Listen. The burger was probably one of the best burgers I'd ever had.

It is a resort restaurant, and worth every penny! Right off the beach of Black Rock Beach and easy to access.

Shade seating as well.

“The vegetable and tofu stir fry is excellent. The cauliflower had that wonderful, subtle charred flavor that comes from stir frying at high heat. The pizza from kid’s menu was pretty tasty as well. Overall they have decent vegetarian options. I’m pleasantly surprised how much better the food is here compared to the two neighboring Westins.“

“Came to dinner as a guest in the resort. The food was absolutely delicious. We had beef cheek and salmon, deep fried houlimi for starter. Washed it all down woth a couple of Coronas. The waiter, the young man there was very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. I recommend to try it out. Price wise, it was average.“
