“We love going to Leilani’s on the Beach. The service is top-notch, and the setting cannot be beat (although admittedly, many Maui b chaise restaurants match it… West Maui is amazing!). Every meal we’ve tried has been delicious. When we first visited in 2008, it inspired us to name our daughter-to-come Leilani. She is now 17 and we are on our way back soon for her grad trip. Can’t wait to see you in April!“

“Seriously the best place on ALL levels. Get there when they open at 11:00 as it gets very busy. There was a line out the door when we were there. Reasonably priced and great to take out for a day at the beach. We had an assortment of food items as we went a few times on our stay in Kahana. Lobster Bisque - Made fresh and it is the best I have ever had Poke - Fresh and delicious. By far the best I have ever had Shrimp Cocktail - You cant go wrong with a classic favorite Fish & Chips - nicely fried - not greasy and large portion Grilled/Fried Fish Tacos - They were both equally delicious and large portions Oyster Shooter - I could have had a dozen Seaweed Salad - Fresh and great flavor Crab Cakes - OMG The piece de resistance though was was the fresh Mahi Mahi that we barbequed. We used the 10 minute soy ginger marinade and it was better than outstanding. All of the workers are so nice and helpful. They work hard and take care of you from start to finish. Thank you Jim and crew for sharing your food and hospitality. You bet I will be back on my next visit to Maui. Mahalo!“

“We were in Maui for our 10 year wedding Anniversary and I wanted to surprise my husband with a special dinner, as he's a huge sushi fan. he was definitely surprised and excited when we walked in. It feels very exclusive with the minimal seating (make sure to reserve in advance). Not only was every course exceptional, the sake pairings were really good too. And after the main 14 courses, we were offered a “secret menu” with three more options we could add on we of course did and they didn't disappoint. And then the final course was Mango sorbet which was so good. Even if you make a reservation, make sure to get there early to guarantee a spot at the bar and not the table. That way you can clearly see the chefs artistry and clearly hear the description for each course.“
