“We love going to Leilani’s on the Beach. The service is top-notch, and the setting cannot be beat (although admittedly, many Maui b chaise restaurants match it… West Maui is amazing!). Every meal we’ve tried has been delicious. When we first visited in 2008, it inspired us to name our daughter-to-come Leilani. She is now 17 and we are on our way back soon for her grad trip. Can’t wait to see you in April!“

“We made a reservation in advance for the omakase experience. We've tried a couple of omakase dinners before but the one at Takumi felt intimate and personal. For omakase diners only, we were seated inside a room together all facing the chef, save for a table of four on the other wall. We tried their flight of sake that was chosen with chef specialty and had the best service offered by the waitressed who refilled our glasses plenty and attended to all our questions during dinner. It was an experience worthwhile and we celebrated our one year anniversary here! Definitely would recommend to those looking to try something new and wanting to taste unique sushi dishes.
