“I was here a week before the sad Maui fires and had a fantastic bowl of acai along with a beautifully presented bowl of fruits, with the papaya acting as the bowl. It was fresh and such a great start to the morning. Also tried a nice large mug of latte which didn't disappoint. I hope they can rebound and re-open soon! Mahalo.“

“I hired Cake Fanatics because their cakes were GORGEOUS and not being from Maui we didn't get to do a cake tasting so I just went off reviews. When my husband and I took our first bite it turned into us DEVOURING the entire slice of cake because it was THAT good. The best cake I've ever had. We ordered a larger cake and knew we would probably have extras because we had more cake than people and I am SO glad we had extras to take back to our hotel and enjoy for the rest of our trip. The days after the wedding I had multiple friends and family ask if I had extra cake because they wanted more. HIGHLY recommend!!!“
“Ordered food at the bar with the bartender to enjoy at the bar tables. The food came rather quickly as this spot filled up quite fast in a short amount of time. The bartender was very helpful & because of that I would definitely go back here to enjoy myself again.“
“Ok place for pancakes. It's been here a long time. We came because they have a no gluten option for all but their pancake of the month. Portions are huge, at least for me. I should have ordered a short stack. I probably couldn't have finished that either. My wife thought that the pancakes were very good so I may be just biased for other reasons that I haven't recognized yet.The handicap parking sucks. There isn't enough room to unload a wheelchair from a van.“

Everything we had was both beautifully plated and excellent- the lobster gnocchi poutine, diver scallops, mahi mahi, and the baked Hawaiian dessert was so instagram worthy! “Our first trip to Maui and the staff at the breakfast buffet was a top notch crew. My husband and I were greeted every morning with smiles and were impressed at how kind, courteous and professional each staff member treated us. They made us feel like a part of their family. They accommodated us with everything we needed. The food was delicious, had a good variety of entrees, so we had something different everyday. The view overlooked the water, a cascading waterfall and swimming swans. Mahalo, you made our stay amazing!“
“Really a great, well rounded, experience. I have been to Maui several times but this was my first visit to Merrimen's. It will NOT be my last.This is not an inexpensive restaurant, but the service, atmosphere, location and (of course) the food make it a very special place.“
