“So happy to see Honu back open. Great staff. Excellent location. Amazing good. Definitely worth making a reservation and enjoying the experience.”
“There truly is no better dining experience on Maui....the food is so delicious.... you will not be disappointed!! The service is excellent and you cannot beat the views.”
“This was the best experience! The food was fantastic, our waiters were fantastic, and they were very attentive to food allergies! 100% worth the money. Ask for Cousin Kyle with the Smile!”

“We love going to Leilani’s on the Beach. The service is top-notch, and the setting cannot be beat (although admittedly, many Maui b chaise restaurants match it… West Maui is amazing!). Every meal we’ve tried has been delicious. When we first visited in 2008, it inspired us to name our daughter-to-come Leilani. She is now 17 and we are on our way back soon for her grad trip. Can’t wait to see you in April!”

“The food was amazing, the seared ahi tuna melted in your mouth. We dined and listened and watched the waves crashing. It was such an amazing experience”
“Not your average cinnamon roll and pizza joint! Best in the world cinnamon rolls (I’m a 25 yr cop-I know my pastries!!)! Fantastic fresh pizza is a must have. But the Aloha spirit washes over this place and spills out into the streets like the smell of freshly made cinnamon rolls. After the tragic Maui fires, Papi’s c rolls and pizza were given out free…yes free! To visitors and displaced local fire victims alike. For weeks! One should note: the tip jar over floweth in return…as it should be. Aloha is reciprocal and magnified here. It’s not just a great place to eat. It’s a great place to be. The spirit of aloha is not the only spirit in this place. The Holy Spirit is so present you just feel well and good for having been there and participating in the example displayed. Be goodly, be Godly, live a life of aloha with good thoughts, good prayers and good deeds. Take care of your community your community will take care of you. All that, and the best cinnamon rolls ever.”
“The best sushi I have ever had! It’s a must if you are in Lahaina!”
“10/10!! On everything! The line was a little long but it flew by pretty quickly. The view was amazing, the service was even better BUT the FOOOD!!! oh my goodness!! And the price threw everything over!! It was great!! We ordered the fried rice (smaller plate) and two pancakes and it was perfect for 2. For sure try the pineapple pancake with the speciality locally made coconut syrup, and the chocolate macadamia nut pancakes. Will for sure return if we ever return back to Maui!!”

“My wife has a gluten allergy and is vegan, making it challenging to find suitable dining options when we travel. However, during our recent trip to Maui, we were fortunate to discover several excellent establishments, and A`A Roots stood out with its incredible food. My wife particularly enjoyed a sandwich, describing it as the best she's ever had. She was very pleased with both the service and the food. The chickpea burger and salad were very, very good.”

“A great place to eat on Kaanapali Beach! This beach front setting provides casual dining with great food, service with a smile and beautiful Maui sunsets. Our Maui vacations always include visits to the Castaway Cafe. Their prime rib and fish tacos do not disappoint! We will be back!”

“So good! We had the Bloody Mary and Boa Monday specials for lunch (1 duck, 1 puffed shrimp) and then came back for dinner later too try the scallion pancakes, kurobuta pork dumplings, and Dan Dan noodles. Not quite authentic Chinese, but very delicious nonetheless!”
“Now I will say we had an insider dining with us so our experience/service was top notch. But everything that we tried was absolutely incredible from start to finish. We had the following and I can’t begin to explain how YUMMY it all was.
Panko crusted ahi sashimi
Shrimp dynamite
Lobster & blue crab ravioli
Crispy brussel sprouts
Cajun seared walu sashimi
Fresh Hawaiian ahi carpaccio
Fresh hamachi crudo
Crunchy island spicy roll
New York strip steak
Chili porcini mushrooms crusted 8oz filet
Warm Granny Smith apple tart”
“Best hotel in Maui. They provide unlimited spa access unlike four seasons and Ritz, and location is perfect for snorkeling and paddle boarding . Turtles and seals are often visible from the beach . Not as many restaurants at other properties but the property itself is immaculate and leaves nothing to be desired .”
“My daughters and I went with our friends. It was a group of 9 and we all loved it! We paid for the vip so that we could be front to the show, it was worth it. The food was exquisite. The show itself was excellent even in the rain. I was amazed at the level of love and commitment the dancers had because as the show started the rain did too and it got stronger, but they kept dancing with a smile. Thank you for sharing your culture through dance. I would highly recommend it!”
“This was the best sushi we’ve tried so far. We stopped here once just to try it, and it was so good that we came back again for more sushi and poke. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made from scratch. We will definitely be coming back again. You can check their hours of operation daily on their Instagram page. Highly recommend!”

“I am a longtime customer at Naplil Coffee Store and I highly recommend them. Their coffee is superb. They make the best lattes on the island and they have wonderful bakery goods. My favorite is the blueberry muffin and the almond Joy cookies. They also have a wonderful quiche, either bacon or veggie and goes along great with your coffee. They get five stars from me every time.”
“The Korean-style chicken barbecue was flavorful, though slightly on the dry side and could have benefited from a bit more sauce. Portions were more modest compared to Won’s in Kahului, though it’s worth noting this isn’t a dedicated Korean establishment and shouldn’t be judged as such. Overall, it was a wholesome, satisfying, and health-conscious meal. Be aware that seating is limited to outdoor tables only.”

“We got plate lunch at several places on the island while we were here. I wasn't sure how this place would compare to the food trucks since it's a franchise. I'm happy to report that the combination plate we got here was the best we tried. The mac salad was the best (most places we tried prior had no mayo, and we prefer mayo in ours). None of the meat was too salty. The steak was cut so thin and was very flavorful and tender. The chicken thighs were perfect and not dry. And the ribs were great as well. I saw several locals going in which also provides confidence. Lastly, I got a spam musubi and it was great; definitely get one before you leave the island.”
“This place is awesome, I fell in love! Too bad it’s a million miles away lol.”

“This place is very a very unique and interesting place!! We had breakfast and we’re served by a new server from Cali “ Mati” like us!! And she was not only a sweetheart but fast and one of the only servers doing circles in the whole restaurant and still making sure we we’re doing okay the whole time. The food was great. And definitely will be back??”
“This cantina is a gem! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere wraps you in warmth and hospitality. Every wall offers something visually captivating—the design is a masterclass in eye-catching details. And the food? Unbelievable. Each dish bursts with flavor, perfectly balancing freshness and a farm-to-table vibe that feels intentional and nourishing. Even their non-alcoholic beverages impressed—refreshing, thoughtfully crafted, and just as memorable as the meal. If you’re in Honokowai, this place is a must-stop❣️”
“We just so happened to stumble upon Slappy Cakes while driving by in Maui! We decided to check it out before heading back home from vacation and Slappy Cakes did NOT disappoint!! The food was incredible, the atmosphere was great, and everyone was very friendly. Coy was our server and we will never forget how awesome he was!! Not only was he an excellent and very prompt server but he stayed after closing time to finish a conversation with us about the island that left a lasting impact on our hearts. Most would have pushed us out, but not a single staff at Slappy Cakes rushed us out at close so we could enjoy our meal and our experience while also making powerful connections! The world needs more people like Coy!! ❤️ 🥞”
“Love, love, love! Must do in Waikiki.”
“We stayed for 4 nights in the resort for my aloha birthday dream getaway and it was truly amazing stay. The staffs are so friendly and accommodating mostly are Filipinos like me. Our room was upgraded to a partial ocean view which makes us feel so special though breakfast buffet is just fair not much of food selections. Overall the resort is amazing with pool views and the beach!”
“Had the Lime Coconut drink at happy hour. Delicious!!! Enjoyed the cliff diving ceremony but what really struck me was the guitar playing and the hula dancer. She was so graceful and beautiful. Wish I could see it every day.”

“Decided to take a chance on this one despite the reviews. It may not be a production of the scale that some of the hotels put together, but this one makes up for that with the people involved. All of the performers were local and related in some way, and we got the feeling that they really care about telling the story of the islands and the surrounding region. Food was good (vegetarian so can’t speak to the meats) and the performances were exciting and engaging. Two drinks included per person and seconds were encouraged. We even learned some hula! Would recommend supporting this up and coming luau production!”
“Roy’s is set on the Ka’anapali golf course. The inside of the restaurant leaves a little to be desired. It’s very basic. Some of the other reviews state it being bright and louder, which I would say is accurate. Feels like a slightly upscale clubhouse restaurant.
That being said, everyone that helped us that evening were very nice and accommodating. They made you feel like you were in a fancy restaurant. Our server, Christina, was fantastic.
The food, including the appetizers and main course, were delicious. Our table enjoyed the calamari, bao buns and beet salad to start. Then we had the butterfish, macadamia crusted catch, which was Mahi, tiger shrimp, ribeye and fish/shrimp duo. We all enjoyed our meals.
As with any of the other “elevated” restaurants on the island, you will want to make a reservation.”
“Well done! Highly recommended, We will definitely return. This getaway will be missed.”

“Man I wish I would have gotten a hot dog when my wife and I stopped here back in August of '22... came back 2 years ago in March with my Mother and Father in law and our 3 boys and I'm a bonehead for never stopping here any of the times we drove thru Olowalu! The kids would all groan everytime I expressed interest in stopping the vehicle ANYWHERE. Just made me realize the next time I'm in Maui, it may very well be kid-free 🤣”
“It is the only full starbucks on the kaanapali walkway. However this starbucks does not have digital ordering system yet, so I haven't figured out how to track my starbuck purchase challenges. Phone purchases still work though along with basic point per dollar tracking.”
“Not only was the food good but the service from Mario was top tier. I’ve gone to plenty of Jersey Mikes in the past and nobody has given better service than Mario at the Lahaina location. Sometimes the folks are slow but not him, he deserves a raise, and the manager should be proud to have hired a rockstar.”
“Look at the color all around this beautiful Panda Express Maui in Lahaina. I love creamy color and white. So i give it a four star, the place has a two electricity outlet outside where anyone can charge up their cellphones or gadgets. It has a variety of food to choose from. Check it out! Bring your friends and your family.”

“Very few food spots on Maui have the array of food, reasonable price, quality, and taste as Nikki’s Pizza – and the staff are nice persons. We’ve been visiting there for 20 years, Additionally, how many other places have the owner working there to ensure the qualities mentioned? 6 of 5 stars!”

“The service is about to get allot better. They are bringing in a ringer. This dude can handle a floor by himself. He's like a duck in water. Mind you if the whole place is full you must be patient. I guarantee there won't be any sloppy moves. Remember there were only a few servers. It starts at the hostess/ host stand on giving the guests an accurate wait time. Just because you get sat doesn't mean the server is ready for you. But there is no excuse for some of the comments I read. This is about to be fixed. This guy is going to train the rest of the staff that need help. I can't wait to see the improvement. It's about having fun and being on top of your game. Every move must be 3 steps in advance. You should never be looking around for a coffee refill of wanting a check. If there is an issue with your food the 3 minute check back is when you get to voice your opinion. If a server asks "how is everything? " be honest. We want you to enjoy it. Don't feel bad letting us know how we can improve your meal. That's what we get paid to do. We wanna know! If you haven't figured it out yet... I'm the ringer. Come see me and the rest of the new improved crew. We look forward to making your day start out right. Then get on out and enjoy Maui!”

“This restaurant offers a wide variety of food and all with good flavor . We are vacationers from Illinois and were looking for good food without spending an arm and a leg. Fortunately, we were able to have pizza slices which made it much more economical. Everything in Maui is expensive so one has to you weigh your choices. Grilled sandwiches, kabobs, burgers, pizza. Unique orange whip ice cream. My kids love the Whip and pizza slices.”

“Amazing shave ice with innovative flavors and great pricing. Not to mention a fantastic location - right on the beach and on the main path.
Got four flavors - all amazing. The ice was nicely made - not fluffy but still good. The syrups were great and the popular flavors menu offered some nice gelato and ice cream assisted flavors that paired really well with the offerings. We tried the yamatacha and the affogato - amazing flavors.
The owner was very passionate about the flavors and clearly loves what she does. Tbh I forgot to ask her if she was the owner, I just assumed based on our interaction.
Overall wonderful spot, will be our go to on Maui for sure!”
“That day, around 1 PM, I wanted something to eat with my coffee. I remembered there was a food truck in the mall, so I went to check it out. I found a crepe stand and decided to order one. The taste went perfectly with the coffee; the chocolate in the crepe was fragrant. I wasn't disappointed at all.”
“The food is delicious, fresh, tasty and delightful. You can tell they are proud of their food. They put effort in their product. The variety of options from the pizza toppings, delicious wagyu burger, salad options, gyros, desserts and ice cream which is actually gelato consistency with so many options in flavors. And for those who love fries these are great so crunchy and fresh!
The service and cleanliness is worth mentioning and effort by the great staff from the cooks Alberto and Arturo, the friendly and helpful cashier Angela and awesome manger Nicholas. Not to forget the pineapple robot that serves at tables.
The prices, ambience, and location is top notch considering that it was so easy to get to and open late. It's at walking distance from our hotel and other resorts.
I'm looking forward to coming back soon and bringing some friends along with me the next time around!!!!”
“Because you are at the resort expect to pay quite a bit for a drink and food. It’s very convenient as it is right by the pool, so you don’t need to go far for lunch as you are lounging. Ended up getting a pina colda which was not the best. It hurt paying so much for a not very tasty drink. Plenty of other options that were likely better.”
“This is their express location, with a full restaurant called Sale Pepe. So you’re getting sit down restaurant quality, not fast food. Hence the price. $8 for a large pizza slice, ~ $20 for pasta.
A local recommended them to us, and told us how they originally were in Old Town Lahaina and were destroyed in the fire.”
