The Hideaway is a restaurant inside the Montage Resort on Maui, known for its top notch food and atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and provides delicious recommendations. Favorite dishes include the Ahi Poke with furikake rice crackers, the lobster mac with manchego cheese sauce, the Shishito peppers, the Vietnamese wings, the fish sandwich, and the pineapple upside down cake. It offers the best mai tai on the island, described as boozy and not sweet, along with other excellent cocktails like the Kapalua Sunset. While some may find it overpriced, the experience is considered worthy of visit after visit for its 5 star resort setting.
