“First time dining at The Plantation house. We went there to celebrate our anniversary. We had such a beautiful experience. The staff was very attentive. The food was excellent and we enjoyed the atmosphere. And to top it off, we had awesome dinner music. Mahalo Peter for playing. Mahalo Plantation house for an awesome dinner experience.“
“Beautiful restaurant & great customer service. We throughly enjoyed our meal, the food was excellent, I also really appreciated how accommodating they were of our young children. They made sure our food was out quickly and just over all made a fun experience. I would highly recommend coming here and get the hula pie it was wonderful!“
“This was one of the first places we stopped for dinner after settling into our condo during our vacation. The boardwalk provides easy, scenic access to the restaurant so if you're staying anywhere in the nearby area, this is definitely a place you should try to walk over to one evening. It has beautiful, open air seating with a nice view. The food was really great too! Calamari was served in huge, thick, strips that were super tender. It was so much better than the typical rubbery deep fried calamari rings I've seen at restaurants on the mainland. You can't go wrong with any of the fish options either. We tried four different fish entrees over two separate visits and everything we had was delicious. The drinks are great as well, definitely expensive but also...potent.“
“Amazing people - my first stop in Maui and we really felt the aloha here! So impressed with the food here! The meats were tender and cooked perfectly. We could really tell the amount of pride that went into every dish. They have a small area to sit that is shared with other trucks. Mahalo for the Ono eats ~Aloha“
“We were so thrilled that the Old Lahaina Luau had recently reopened since the devastating fires last year in Lahaina. What a breath of fresh air to this dear community. This Hawaiian experience is so very important to the culture when visiting Hawaii. Please visit this particular luau in Maui; a portion of their monthly sales goes to rebuilding Lahaina. ❤️“
“Okay first off, I wish I took a picture of the truck.. they're covered in cute stickers and trinkets! The lady greeted us so kindly, gave us some information on the food and not one lie was told. She told us the sauces go with every flavor of mochi and omg it was so good! We got all the flavors of mochi (poi, strawberry and ube) along with the caramel sauce and pog sauce. They were all so good that it made me forget about the deep fried pb&j I got lol definitely will be back!!“
“Great spot within the Ritz. Good food, great service and good cocktails. Catch of the day was great - always able to get a reservation even during Spring break - even accommodated our bigger party of 8. We went twice on our trip it was so good.Kid-friendliness: Took four young boys here - they were great and very accommodating. Big area on the grass for them to run around and play.“
“On a recent trip to Maui we walked to this great little shop multiple times throughout our stay. The parmesan bagels were amazing! The coffee and staff were also delightful and it is definitely a spot that will make you want to go back for another visit.“
“The restaurant was extremely busy (always a good sign) and the lady at the register was very sweet and helpful. We got our food to go and it was still hot by the time we got to our hotel room. Huge portions, great food, awesome prices! I'll be recommending this place to everyone I know! (Katsu chicken, bbq chicken, and garlic chicken mini plates and saimin chicken ramen)“
“The BEST mac salad I have ever had in my life! We had their fish and chips, and their Korean BBQ chicken, and it’s incredible! The chicken is so juicy and flavorful, and the fish were so fresh! I highly recommend stopping by, ordering some great food, and leaving a tip for these amazing people.“
“Fantastic local's roach coach park in Lahaina with very competitive pricing compared to the one opposite Times which is getting as pricey as restaurants! Free parking too, and a good selection of ethnic foods, all tasty (yes we have eaten at them all multiple times...lol).Smash makes the BEST sushi, mouthwateringly good, fresh and accompanied by their Smash Sauce...YUM! We also had some of their katsu and it was the bomb. Staff were friendly, there are tables for you to sit and enjoy your meal, usually someone playing music on a boom box, and they have decorated the area with flowers in pots. Smanchy for a truck lot.Smash does take out and catering too, so if you want a quick bite to eat or you want a party sized Sushi platter give them a call. You won't regret it ;)“
“Place was great and food was good but service was ok. First we had to wait at the door for 10 minutes when there was many tables open . The hostess seated us and then took another 10 minutes to take our order. Thankfully the busboy came to our rescue. I could see our food sitting on the counter for another 10 minutes and the busboy finally brought it to us. I saw a group come in seat themselves and then wave to the lady to order. They had obviously been here before. Food was very good and the place was clean and fun. Maybe the girl was new ? I would still recommend anyone to try this new place“
“The best Mai Tai in Maui! This is located in Whaler’s Village and we went for the Mai Tai hype and it was worth it! The ambience is so Hawaii, food especially fried and gnocchi, service and vibe is great. They have non alcoholic Mai Tai version too“
“Chicken cutlet was great, thick portion of chicken, not thin and crusty like some other places. Mushroom burger was great too, moist and delicious. My boy had loco moco and for a big guy, he couldn't finish his plate, saved it for breakfast. Will definitely go back again.“
“Great local spot. The lines can seem long at high times but well worth the wait. Ceviche and poke are truly wonderful. The tacos, ahi sandwich and coconut shrimp were top notch. Staff was friendly and was able to accommodate for gf on the poke. Would recommend to stop in.“
“The woman who got us the shaved ice was so friendly and sweet! The shaved ice itself was also very good. A bit more of a crushed ice than shaved but let’s be honest here yall…it all tastes the same…it’s ice! The flavors I chose, mango and lychee were also delicious. The vanilla ice cream was a nice touch as well. Some people said pricing is not listed, however it is on the board when you walk in and add-on pricing is very clear (in front of your face). This was a cute shop in Maui and I would reccomend it for a quick and yummy treat! 4/5 for the atmosphere because it was a bit dark in the shop and we weren’t sure if it was open, however the friendly woman quickly asked if we were here for shaved ice to let us know they’re open! Again, friendly and delicious!* Please note, the lychee flavor is a clear syrup so the white side is not dull in color. It is simply clear flavoring!“
“This is by far my favorite pool bar to come to in Hawaii! David has remembered us each year we come back. That’s amazing to think you only see a couple a few days a year but remember them each year. Amazing! Alone(sp) has also been there each year and has been amazing. We look forward to next year!“
“Really a great, well rounded, experience. I have been to Maui several times but this was my first visit to Merrimen's. It will NOT be my last. This is not an inexpensive restaurant, but the service, atmosphere, location and (of course) the food make it a very special place.“
