During our vacation we always book Roy's restaurant for a few times. It's always amazing!!!
Outstanding service and food. Restaurant a little dated but comfortable. Expensive but worth it.
The blackened ahi tuna was very good, the “hibachi” grilled salmon was not hibachi style and under cooked, flavors were a 3.7. Service was fast and efficient but definitely did not feel like the 5 star dining experience we'd hoped for especially for the price point. They sat us at a table with a great view of the golf course on one side and the kitchen on the other which was sadly distracting. Based on the reviews, Roy’s Kaanapali has an amazing view of the golf course. The ambiance is poor at night because all you see is the reflection off beautiful glass windows. The menu has drastically changed not as good, and it is very pricey. The beef short rib was an excellent meal, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. Everything was absolutely amazing, and the presentation was beautiful. The food and service was outstanding. However, one guest had a hair in a drink and was very disappointed. The place waters to an earlier crowd. A slightly rare medium rare filet was delicious. Staff were all great, but the waiter stated they can't hire staff since covid which changed everything.
