Five out of five stars for the pork and pineapple pizza alone. DAMN it was sooooooo good. Sounds like there's too much going on for it to make sense, but it is so perfect. Truffle pizza was pretty basic. Too much cream sauce not enough flavor. Mai tai was pretty good. A little sweet.
OMG.. If you haven't been to Maui, and even if you have, you have got to have the MonkeyPod MaiTai with lilikoi foam.. a staple in Lahaina. The shrimp and hamakua mushroom potstickers are exquisite! And the spicy mustard is a plus! Service is amazing and always a great conversation. A must visit when visiting Maui! Also tried the pork and pineapple pizza which was startling delicious, which is huge, being a born and raised New Yorker

I tried Mai Tais all over the island and kept fantasizing about the 3 I had over at Monkey Pod. This was the first location where I saw chickens around, which was kind of cool. I was served the wrong food (we had a big wedding party) but I was half in the bag and whatever I ate was freaking delicious.
