“I was very excited to find a vegan restaurant in Maui. My only problem with A A Roots was too many options I wanted to try and not enough room in my stomach! I had the breakfast burrito which was healthy, hearty and filling and came beautifully presented. Since I rarely can find vegan homemade cookies I got both the chocolate chip PB and the s’mores cookies. Best word to describe A A Roots is YUM!“

“I am a longtime customer at Naplil Coffee Store and I highly recommend them. Their coffee is superb. They make the best lattes on the island and they have wonderful bakery goods. My favorite is the blueberry muffin and the almond Joy cookies. They also have a wonderful quiche, either bacon or veggie and goes along great with your coffee. They get five stars from me every time.“

“My daughters and I went with our friends. It was a group of 9 and we all loved it! We paid for the vip so that we could be front to the show, it was worth it. The food was exquisite. The show itself was excellent even in the rain. I was amazed at the level of love and commitment the dancers had because as the show started the rain did too and it got stronger, but they kept dancing with a smile. And she was not only a sweetheart but fast and one of the only servers doing circles in the whole restaurant and still making sure we we’re doing okay the whole time. The food was great. “In the midst of Hurricane/tropical storm Lala, we found ourselves short a couple of squares of foil. We headed to Times supermarket to pick up foil, but they were closed. We saw lights on at Paradiso Pizza and would have pivoted and ordered dinner, had they not just closed. Upon asking for a couple of pieces of foil the man at the door popped inside and quickly returned with the needed foil to make our dinner back at the condo. A BIG MAHALO to them for that kindness. The food was incredible, the atmosphere was great, and everyone was very friendly. Coy was our server and we will never forget how awesome he was!! “We arrived early and waited in line as part of first come first serve (Sunday). We sat at the bar - my 13 year old son and I. Sushi was excellent. The bartender was great! I was here in 2007 and again in 2026. So good both times. I do recommend if you are in the area.“

“This was my favorite meal so far and my first poke experience. We got the brown rice, ahi tuna, cilantro, mango, corn, avocado, white onion, with their sauce and teriyaki sauce and it was the best thing I've ever eaten. I could eat the exact same meal over and over. Mango lemonade was good and cookies were also good.“
