“We had the spicy hamachi bowl, garlic salmon bowl, smash roll, and Cali roll. Everything was phenomenal and super fresh. The flavors were thoughtfully curated and unique from anything I’ve ever had in a poke bowl. 10/10 recommend! We will definitely be back!“

“I rarely ever leave reviews, but this experience was seriously amazing. Our server was genuinely one of a kind, I’m pretty sure he is name is Sonny. He is incredibly welcoming, charismatic, and has genuinely incredible vibes all around. He gave us great recommendations for food, which were all amazing dishes. He is also very funny, if I could give this spot 100 stars for service I would do it. Although on the pricy side, it is definitely worth dining here 1000%.“

“Was there during the Maui March heavy rains. As we couldn't drive safely, we walked to Whalers Village and were fortunate to find Maui Poke. There were lines everywhere because most tourists didn't wish to travel far. Was pleasantly surprised to get a delicious meal at low cost...everything was so fresh. I noted that only 2 people were working the counter...presumably the owners. I watched them serve this enormous crowd diligently and without skipping a beat. They were a well-oiled team - taking on an unusual day, I'm sure. BIG shout out to these great people - keeping their patrons well fed and happy despite the flooding going on. Will definitely return.“

“We made a reservation in advance for the omakase experience. We've tried a couple of omakase dinners before but the one at Takumi felt intimate and personal. For omakase diners only, we were seated inside a room together all facing the chef, save for a table of four on the other wall. We tried their flight of sake that was chosen with chef specialty and had the best service offered by the waitressed who refilled our glasses plenty and attended to all our questions during dinner. It was an experience worthwhile and we celebrated our one year anniversary here! Definitely would recommend to those looking to try something new and wanting to taste unique sushi dishes. Thank you so much for the experience!“
