“Our food and service was great! I found it strange that we payed with a gift card and charged a service charge that was described as a credit card fee. That didn't sit right with me. Aside from that it was great. Our server was helpful guiding us.“

“I loveee this place ! I go here all the time but I will say they hired a new guy and he always forgets things to put in my bowl or puts a little bit like effort in it .. I’m writing this review so maybe they can retrain him or something lol every time I go I always hope to get the bald guy ( sorry I didn’t mean to describe you like that I just don’t know your name guy 🥲) but take it as a compliment because I always hope to get you LOL you always do it to perfection!“

“We were in Maui for our 10 year wedding Anniversary and I wanted to surprise my husband with a special dinner, as he's a huge sushi fan. he was definitely surprised and excited when we walked in. It feels very exclusive with the minimal seating (make sure to reserve in advance). Not only was every course exceptional, the sake pairings were really good too. And after the main 14 courses, we were offered a “secret menu” with three more options we could add on we of course did and they didn't disappoint. And then the final course was Mango sorbet which was so good. Even if you make a reservation, make sure to get there early to guarantee a spot at the bar and not the table. That way you can clearly see the chefs artistry and clearly hear the description for each course.“
