“This was a wonderful experience during our time in Maui. The service was friendly and the atmosphere is warm and intimate. The sushi is exceptional and watching Chef Oku is a chance to watch madter craftsmanship. This is worth a stop for great sushi on the island.“

“Got the unagi donburi and it was super delicious. Excellent balance in the portions and top notch eel. The salad had a tasty orange dressing that cut through the eel’s fattiness nicely. I’m gunna keep seeking out this place when I’m back at the food truck oasis!“

“Location is outdoor under a large tree. It had rained just before we arrived, so we had drops hitting us for a short while. It was humid at the beginning, but a small breeze later came in and kept us cooler. Food was excellent, quality and price. It is a BYOB restaurant, which is perfect for us. The only thing bugging us was that the server kept asking us if we were ready for our check, when we still wanted to order moer food. There is a 90 minute limit, but this started happening about 45 minutes into our stay.“

“Hands down the best ramen any of us have ever had. The vegetarian ramen is SPECTACULAR.
The location is small and bare and they only have one server (Midori is a beast) running it all, so don’t go in a hurry or for the ambiance, but 100% go for the food.“

“Spent an evening in Kihei from Lahaina, and stopped here for a bite to eat before a concert. The happy hour for locals lasts all day and night, they have great specials for food and drinks. Especially enjoyed our server Walter, he was awesome! Thank you for a great time“
