We were celebrating a major achievement by our daughter and from the moment we checked in to the moment we left, we felt like VIPs. Our table had the most incredible view of the sunset, our waiter, John, went above and beyond to make our dinner and amazing experience!! Food was delicious, drinks and wine outstanding! “I came here a few times during my first trip to Hawai'i. Wonderful little shaved ice shop with great, delicious choices at a good price and friendly workers. There was a wait which is understandable with 2-ish people working at a busy time of day but even then the wait was never too long.“

“This is the best shaved ice (that I know of) in the world. Although it isn’t shaved ice (its baobing, the Chinese take on shaved ice), the combination of all the toppings and the price point make it truly delicious. Other places for shaved ice in Maui cost $5 per cup, and the cups are minuscule. Here, the share size Sunset baobing costs $13 dollars and six people couldn’t finish it. It came with popping boba, mochi, fresh strawberries, and a surprise of ice cream in the middle. This combination satisfied everyone in the group and filled everyone up for a good price! Best of all, there was no line nor wait, and our baobing came out instantly!“

This is a small place with limited seating indoors and outdoors, we just happened to show up when there was an open table (lucky for us!) and the service was fantastic! “We dined at Kō on the first night of our trip and then again on the last night. Both experiences were fantastic. Try to ignore the sticker shock of how expensive the meal will be & just settle in for the ride.

Every person in our party loved every dish we ordered. We had the Ahi Katsu, Korean Kalbi Wagyu Sirloin Ssam, Grilled Hawaiian Catch (Opakapaka), Herb Crusted Fresh Catch, and Wagyu dumplings.

The Kalbi Wagyu Sirloin was so much fun to eat - I loved making lettuce wraps with the perfectly cooked steak, the wagyu fried rice was epic, the flavor on the steak alone was worth just eating it straight from the plate.

The Ahi Katsu was cooked perfectly and the katsu presentation was great.

Both fresh fish entrees had unique sides that enhanced each dish.

Our servers were both fantastic - we had Morgan on night one and Victoria (who was moonlighting from the breakfast buffet). They expertly described the menu and dishes and were fun to chat with.

Our toddler loved running around the grassy area near the patio, which made our lives a lot easier!“

“Decided to splurge a little and treat myself and family to a nice breakfast in wailea. As locals we have our usual spots but decided to give this place a try since there was a kamaaina special. We weren’t disappointed. I had my fill of smoked salmon, ahi poke, bacon, and eggs benny (all buffet so that was a plus). Kiddos had everything and the wife really enjoyed the atmosphere. Not stuffy, great staff (Venus was our server) and the kamaaina was a plus. Coming back again.“

“The place is spectacular. The event is well organized in terms of booking, seating , service and show. The food was served family style which is better than a buffet style. The food was okay, a lot of food but not really that delicious . The bar was excellent. The service was friendly and excellent. Shout out to our server Bret. The party was fun , the show was good with really great costumes but I did not find the dances interesting enough. I also think it’s a bit overpriced . I chose it because is was the nearest to where I stayed.“
