“This was our 3rd visit to Ka'ana Kitchen and as our previous visits this one hasn't disappointed! We were celebrating a major achievement by our daughter and from the moment we checked in to the moment we left, we felt like VIPs. Our table had the most incredible view of the sunset, our waiter, John, went above and beyond to make our dinner and amazing experience!! Food was delicious, drinks and wine outstanding! Thank you staff for making our dinner experience a very special occasion!! We'll be back!!“

“Definitely five stars! Humu at Grand Wailea, Waldorf Astoria, on Maui was a wonderful dining experience. The seafood was absolutely delicious, and the oysters were the highlight: fresh, delicate, and full of incredible ocean flavor. I would happily return just for them! I also highly recommend the sliced fish platter. It is a fantastic choice for anyone who enjoys seafood and wants to savor the fish itself. These are the kinds of dishes that make a Hawaiian dinner memorable. The oysters and fish platter are definitely must-orders. We would gladly come back and recommend this restaurant to friends visiting Maui.“

“I was on my way to the sunset views when some locals recommended this place and said it was really good. Since it was so close, I decided to give it a try—and I’m so glad I did!

It was excellent! Honestly, coming from the Ritz-Carlton, I’d say it was just as good. The portions are huge, and they are so generous! My husband and I are absolutely stuffed. 😂

“I would go back to Maui just to eat here. Apparently it was on Food Network's Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives with Guy Fieri and the food is excellent! This is a small place with limited seating indoors and outdoors, we just happened to show up when there was an open table (lucky for us!) and the service was fantastic! My mistake was booking too short a vacation so there was no way to try everything on the menu this time, so now I have a reason to return.“

“Our server was amazing as was the entire staff! The food and wine/drinks were great! I get it we are at a high end resort but the prices for the same things we order at home high end restaurants (we are from a "resort town") were double. That leaves a bad taste in your mouth (no punn intended)!“

“The fish tacos are hands down so delicious. Mango salsa takes it to a whole different level. The flavors were so so good this coming from my mom who loves to eat fish tacos everywhere she can. She said it's in her top 2 choices of fish tacos. I had the mahi mahi grilled with lemon butter and white rice it was delicious as well but next time I'm getting the fish tacos.“

“We used the swim-up bar to enjoy some cocktails. I wanted to give a shout-out to the lady and man bartenders working on Friday, Dec 12 evening who was really nice, warm and friendly. Sorry I didn't get their names. They kept the snack mix refilled and created a funny, warm atmosphere.“

This dinner, while expensive, was genuinely one of the best meals and experiences I’ve ever had! I sat near the kitchen for about 3 hours and wish I could go back. Everyone was friendly, talkative, and informative. This was an amazing night, amazing atmosphere, and EXCELLENT food and drink! I will be coming back any and every time I am in Maui. “Staff is great, never had a bad experience. Food is really good, mahalo to the cooks, it's a what you pay for situation and it's a lot better than what would be considered acceptable and the price is right. There's indoor and outdoor seating and it's in beautiful kihei so no complaints. Keep in mind, not all L & L's are created equal and we have the best food of all the ones on the island here in kihei.“

“I drove from Paia to S Kihei just to try the fried fish. It's difficult to find fried fish in the island, so I decided to give it a shot, and it was well worth the drive!

Just a tip, most of the photos show an orange food truck, but it's actually white, and it's located on the northwest end of the property, next to the street.“

“We had a company dinner at Koast and I cannot say enough good things about it. From start to finish the service was imbecile. While not on the ocean the view was still beautiful with golf course and ocean views. The food was delicious. I highly recommend. PS. Ask for Jason“

“The food and drinks were fantastic. They did a great job catering to both me and my husbands allergies. We found the music and dancers were absolutely amazing. The finale was incredible with the fire dancers. Our waiter Steven was so attentive and gave us 5 star service.“

“The place is spectacular. The event is well organized in terms of booking, seating , service and show. The food was served family style which is better than a buffet style. The food was okay, a lot of food but not really that delicious . The bar was excellent. The service was friendly and excellent. Shout out to our server Bret. The party was fun , the show was good with really great costumes but I did not find the dances interesting enough. I also think it’s a bit overpriced . I chose it because is was the nearest to where I stayed.“

“Absolutely gorgeous atmosphere! Food and drinks were well above average for Maui. So, if you're from a foodie city, this is quite a reprieve from the standard low quality/large portion style meals you'll find on the island. I absolutely recommend giving this spot a try, especially around sunset when the beautiful view really shines.

“The pulled pork buns and macaroni salad (didn’t know that was included) were OUT OF THIS WORLD! Price is right and the food is fresh and delicious. I spoke to the owner and she said the sauce is homemade and the pork is their specialty. I can’t recommend highly enough.“

I had the catch of the day bowl, which arrived as a generous portion that was wonderfully fresh and expertly prepared. “This is a mom and pop restaurant serving breakfast, salads and plates for very affordable prices. The food and setting are not fancy, but you pay about the same or less than for food from the local grocery store. You can get a meal for about 10 to 20 dollars. Very friendly service. A very convenient place for families. We were able to pay with a credit card.“

“Our family booked this show during our stay at the Grand Wailea, and had an incredible time! We were hesitant based on past experiences of 'dinner and a show' where the food is usually mediocre, but the meal here was delicious! The tickets were expensive however, when you factor in an open bar and ability to request more food to the platters they brought you, they even had a dairy free chocolate torte for dessert for my daughter and I we were blown away! The show itself was completely enriched with history of the Hawaiian people, current culture and interactive enough but not too much that made you feel uncomfortable. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a memorable evening on your trip, a generous and delicious meal and culture rich experience!“

We were overindulged from the moment we sat down at the table with the most beautiful view, surrounded by soothing live music. Kudos to you and to the team that supports you in making sure that each of your tables gets the attention that they deserve! And then the Haleakala filet mignon, once again perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned and topped with compound butter that was melted at table side with rosemary. (It feels like we are saying perfect too much! But we do mean it!) Then to end the evening celebration with our chocolate lava cake surrounded by white and milk chocolate fondue with banana bread and fresh fruits was simply scrumptious! Chef Junior Ulep, Mahalo for our special night, with our deepest grateful hearts, we appreciate your mana and the joyfulness in which you have chosen to feed us and our fellow patrons at Kula Lodge Restaurant!“

“What a beautiful hotel! I landed in Maui and had reservations for a different hotel. when I arrived the accommodations were terrible so I canceled that hotel and literally had no place to stay for 8 days! I went to the internet and found Maui Coast Hotel. Thankfully, they had just opened their new tower...and had a BEAUTIFUL 😍 ROOM with an ocean view available! The amenities were simply amazing and the staff was absoutely wonderful. The room..well...it was spectacular! We were the 1st to stay in that room. EVERYTHING WAS BRAND NEW! Beds and linnens were so comfy with extra pillows that were comfy! This property is literally just steps across the street where we had access to the most beautiful beach with the sofest sand and views of the neighboring islands. The food at Kiehi Cafe was great. I would highly recommend their grilled Mahi Mahi tacos and honestly their breakfasts were great too! Just walking distance to several other places including a food truck village! They had live music every night at tge poolside bar! Towels, covers for the lounges, sunscreen and pool toys were available for us to use! At every night they had Great bands at the bar! It was a magical stay. Their service was exceptional. Bikes you can ride with shuttle service 3mi from the hotel if you wanted to do something off property close by. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in Maui and hope to return soon! Thank You Maui Coast Hotel for making our stay wonderful. ❤️.“
