“We had an absolutely magical time at the Feast of Mokapu luau! The setting was absolutely stunning and we had the most spectacular sunset and night sky. The beautiful voices, the music along with the storytelling, dancing and fire show - everything was stunning. “5 star Lunch ,4 star dinner . Great young manager from New England area BTW. Lunch items all great ,outstanding burger and salad. The lobster sandwich rivals anything from Main , it's that good !! Get it u wont regret it! The dinner hanger steak and fresh coconut sauced fish were all very good . Only complaint small fish portion ,very small for price . Deserts were very good and decent portions ! Went twice during our stay .“

“We almost didn’t book this luau based upon the bad reviews but I’m so glad we went! This was our first luau and we loved everything from the atmosphere, the food, the location, and the storytelling. We had a great server who kept the food and drinks coming….I lost track of how glasses of champagne she brought me ? We all loved the poke and platter of meat and the variety of desserts. We couldn’t finish all of the food and we are a family of meat eaters! The pre-dinner activities were a nice touch and the sunset view over the ocean was incredible. We paid 1200 for a family of 5, so it wasn’t cheap,but I highly recommend going!“

“We enjoyed this restaurant very much. With a party of 17 it can be a challenge to serve so many efficiently. The staff excelled at their jobs serving delicious plates quickly with Aloha. The sushi chef is superb and the whole atmosphere here was joyful and welcoming. A must try... the Ube Creme Brulee. I will definitely be back again and highly recommend others to give it a try too!“

“Loved our meals from here. The Calamari was huge and the fish dishes were incredible. Also, offer vegan tofu options. It is outside a large food truck garden, but we took our food into the garden to eat, because it was beautiful in there too.“

“My husband and I were recommended this by multiple people while we were in Maui briefly and were so glad we went! The prices, compared to what we have been used to, we felt were reasonable. My husband had the Deep Fried spam Musubi and the Bento Box while I had the Garlic Chicken. We had a lot of food, I would recommend maybe ordering together if you don’t always eat big meals (like myself). The staff were nice too! It’s a small location and we spent maybe 45 minutes to eat here. If we have the opportunity to visit Maui again, we’d likely stop here!Parking: It’s a large lot with many stores, it’s not hard to find parking but it may not be very close especially because this location is in a corner“

“Great atmosphere and service was excellent. Only challenge is the food at the coat per plate. Ad vegan options go, the curry and udon noodles were good but very light on the tofu and veggies. While it was good, with all the other vegan options around it's not a destination vegan food spot. “Great roadside food truck above Maluaka and Makena beaches. Cubano wrap is sooo good, hand-dipped chocolate apple bananas - worth the stop. Perfect eat-on-the-beach food! Owner is friendly and helpful with info and always smiling. Highly recommend!“

“Stopped here for lunch after a morning on the beach and we were not disappointed! We had the fried mahi, fried shrimp, teriyaki chicken, and the onion rings. All items were delicious and hearty! The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Make sure you stop here if you are in the Kihei area!“

“My husband and I had the best experience at Kai Bar.. a new addition to wailea in 2021. stylish marriott pool lounge with the most amazing view at sunset of the ocean and islands. the infinitely pool reflected the changing light. Our Sunset cocktails were perfectly made, happy hour food was delicious with hawaiian flair and generous portions. we had excellent servers and bartenders, friendly and welcoming. after sunset, live music kept the mood along with perfect lighting and torch ambience. one of the best spots of our Maui vacation“

“So good. I had the Pad Thai (3 stars-opened the sinuses). It was flavorful and the meat and veggies were tender. My husband had the Chicken Cashew Stir-fry (8 stars-had him reaching for the tissue box) and said it was delish. We both had Thai iced teas which were a perfect accompaniment to the spicy dishes. Highly recommend!“

“This place is one of our favorite parts of coming to Maui. We like to walk here on the beach in the morning to get breakfast. Excellent German specialties like homemade pretzels, tropical pastries like passion curd buns, and a nice selection of gluten free - banana bread, biscotti, and mochi are some of my faves.Convenient parking lot, friendly helpful service too.“

“Simply the best fish tacos I've ever had. Every place has a slightly different version of fish tacos, I try them everywhere I go, and have my own recipe that I make from home. Until eating at Coconuts. I've never found one quite as good as the ones I make at home. The mango salsa, coconut slaw. And toasted double tortilla shell at Coconuts all combine for a fantastic and unique taco. Portion size is great, price is great for Maui. Fast service, great open environment.“

We asked for the steak to be cooked medium plus, but it came out less than medium and had to be sent back to be cooked further. Other than that, it was a delicious meal in a great location.“

“This restaurant is in The Fairmont Hotel. While the hotel is very nice the restaurant is spectacular. I recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area. Nick fish market has been here for 25 years. I personally have only been here once but our guests that we were with were here 20 years ago and they thought it was great just as it was when we went. I had the 12oz lobster and It was great. Other people in our group had fish and scallops. They loved their meal so you can’t go wrong here. Service is excellent as is the food. Please make it a point to come in here.“

“Wife and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with a delicious vegan dinner crafted by Ka'ana chefs, and we could not be happier.Valet parking and a prestigious location were impressive. The large winding staircase brought us to the entrance of Ka'ana Kitchen where an aloha welcome made us feel we were in the right place.Our reservations had us seated outside the restaurant on the terrace, overlooking the ocean and palm trees in the distance. From that select location we gradually watched the sun makes its way down for a glorious sunset.Attentive wait staff helped us craft vegan appetizers, entrees, and dessert that were simply more amazing than we had expected. Thanks Phil for a great job serving us. Thanks also Dave for your suggestions.The wait staff took our pictures on several occasions. “We got there early and were offered to be seated early or at or scheduled time. We opted for a drink at the bar first. Bartenders were informative about drinks, wine list, and happy hour bar menu, and were very attentive. Our waiter, Zach, gave excellent suggestions about the dinner options. My wife declared the butterfish the best seafood she's ever had. Sunset views were perfect.Update: with COVID mask restrictions lifted, we made a point of making a 6:30 table reservation, but arriving at 5 for drinks and appetizers at the bar. Had crispy calamari and Mongolian baby back ribs - both very good. I revisited the Magnum PI and tried the Two Weeks Notice - the latter being my new favorite. My wife had a refreshing Upcountry Love. Moved to a table on the balcony overlooking the ocean and sunset, both ordered the Misoyaki Butterfish and shared a Maui Pineapple Upside-down Cake. Lovely“
