“This was our first ever luau, and we had great time. The area is gorgeous with beautiful trees and stunning ocean views. We enjoyed the show and the food was pretty good. The only downside is that a lot of food ended up being wasted at the end, which is very unsustainable.“

Only mildly negative thing to say is the walk to get down to the Luau was definitely longer than expected.“

The Lobster Alfredo was 10/10 and a wow factor for sure. Amazing salad and crab cake panini! We also got the Chocolate Deluxe Bar, Mascarpone Pistachio Cake, And Lilikoi Cake to go for the family. “I would go back to Maui just to eat here. Apparently it was on Food Network's Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives with Guy Fieri and the food is excellent! This is a small place with limited seating indoors and outdoors, we just happened to show up when there was an open table (lucky for us!) and the service was fantastic! My mistake was booking too short a vacation so there was no way to try everything on the menu this time, so now I have a reason to return.“

“Unfortunately the service wasn't very good. We chose Ko for our wedding dinner and the experience didn't live up to our hopes. Our server forgot drinks, rarely checked back with us and we had to flag him down several times. We were only a party of 5 and pretty easy to take care of. The most disappointing part was that we had friends arrange a surprise bottle of champagne to be delivered to the table (contacting the restaurant days in advance and had a nice personal message to us and our family). They delivered the champagne (no note) and said they had someone buy us a bottle of champagne. When we asked who, they didn't know. We only found out the next day when our friends asked if we got the bottle delivered to the table.“

“We used the swim-up bar to enjoy some cocktails. I wanted to give a shout-out to the lady and man bartenders working on Friday, Dec 12 evening who was really nice, warm and friendly. Sorry I didn't get their names. They kept the snack mix refilled and created a funny, warm atmosphere.“

We were celebrating a major achievement by our daughter and from the moment we checked in to the moment we left, we felt like VIPs. “I am an established “FOODIE” and have traveled the world eating at some of the best restaurants in the world. This dinner, while expensive, was genuinely one of the best meals and experiences I’ve ever had! I sat near the kitchen for about 3 hours and wish I could go back. Everyone was friendly, talkative, and informative. This was an amazing night, amazing atmosphere, and EXCELLENT food and drink! I will be coming back any and every time I am in Maui. I could not recommend this place and experience more! 100/10“

“Staff is great, never had a bad experience. Food is really good, mahalo to the cooks, it's a what you pay for situation and it's a lot better than what would be considered acceptable and the price is right. There's indoor and outdoor seating and it's in beautiful kihei so no complaints. Keep in mind, not all L & L's are created equal and we have the best food of all the ones on the island here in kihei.“

“We went to a local place for lunch that had great reviews and were very disappointed. Came across this amazing food truck and randomly ordered a few things……ended up coming back not even an hour later to order more. Great portions, food was so good! Made to order and so yummy! The wasabi cream sauce is 🤤🤤🤤 Give this truck a try! Best meal on Maui after a week of trying different local spots!“

“We spent 8 days in Kihei, we started the trip with dinner Kihei Fish House, they were open later (9pm) and it sounded good. We loved it so much we ended our trip with Kihei Fish House. We got the Grilled Mahi-mahi and Jumbo Shrimp tacos BOTH times, they were that good. The only place we ate at twice our entire trip. I'm going to be dreaming about the tacos forever, and probably comparing all future fish tacos to them.
The picture shows only two tacos, but an order comes with three. We couldn't wait to dig in before remembering a picture.“

“We had a company dinner at Koast and I cannot say enough good things about it. From start to finish the service was imbecile. While not on the ocean the view was still beautiful with golf course and ocean views. The food was delicious. I highly recommend. PS. Ask for Jason“

So, if you're from a foodie city, this is quite a reprieve from the standard low quality/large portion style meals you'll find on the island. I absolutely recommend giving this spot a try, especially around sunset when the beautiful view really shines.

“The pulled pork buns and macaroni salad (didn’t know that was included) were OUT OF THIS WORLD! Price is right and the food is fresh and delicious. I spoke to the owner and she said the sauce is homemade and the pork is their specialty. I can’t recommend highly enough.“

“This is a mom and pop restaurant serving breakfast, salads and plates for very affordable prices. The food and setting are not fancy, but you pay about the same or less than for food from the local grocery store. You can get a meal for about 10 to 20 dollars. Very friendly service. A very convenient place for families. We were able to pay with a credit card.“

“What a beautiful hotel! I landed in Maui and had reservations for a different hotel. when I arrived the accommodations were terrible so I canceled that hotel and literally had no place to stay for 8 days! I went to the internet and found Maui Coast Hotel. Thankfully, they had just opened their new tower...and had a BEAUTIFUL 😍 ROOM with an ocean view available! The amenities were simply amazing and the staff was absoutely wonderful. The room..well...it was spectacular! We were the 1st to stay in that room. EVERYTHING WAS BRAND NEW! Beds and linnens were so comfy with extra pillows that were comfy! This property is literally just steps across the street where we had access to the most beautiful beach with the sofest sand and views of the neighboring islands. The food at Kiehi Cafe was great. I would highly recommend their grilled Mahi Mahi tacos and honestly their breakfasts were great too! Just walking distance to several other places including a food truck village! They had live music every night at tge poolside bar! Towels, covers for the lounges, sunscreen and pool toys were available for us to use! At every night they had Great bands at the bar! It was a magical stay. Their service was exceptional. Bikes you can ride with shuttle service 3mi from the hotel if you wanted to do something off property close by. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in Maui and hope to return soon! Thank You Maui Coast Hotel for making our stay wonderful. ❤️.“

“Definitely five stars! Humu at Grand Wailea, Waldorf Astoria, on Maui was a wonderful dining experience. The seafood was absolutely delicious, and the oysters were the highlight: fresh, delicate, and full of incredible ocean flavor. I would happily return just for them! I also highly recommend the sliced fish platter. It is a fantastic choice for anyone who enjoys seafood and wants to savor the fish itself. These are the kinds of dishes that make a Hawaiian dinner memorable. The oysters and fish platter are definitely must-orders. We would gladly come back and recommend this restaurant to friends visiting Maui.“
