“Every time I see the open light, my car automatically stops in for a fresh fish option. Surprisingly, this is one of the few places to find a fresh-catch and Captain Sam's has a knack for seasoning just right.“

“Arrived about 1pm. Bummed they were out of grilled mahi. We ordered the grilled chicken, pork ribs and Kalua pork. All was really good. Served really quick. About 4 or 5 tables to eat at. Not much parking. Owner was very friendly and kind. Had lots of jokes. Definitely would recommend. Killer grindz.“

“Food was very good does have limited options so look at the menu before going. Would definitely go back if we were still on the island and wanted quality food way better than any timeshare or hotel restaurant. They have very nice servers and seating staff. The server even told us the best way to get back to the hotel. I definitely recommend this place if you are up for the dangerous driving on the Hana highway. If you are not ready for tight roads and slower driving with one lane bridges don’t go but it is a good spot with very nice people.“
