“Troy’s is a perfect spot to eat on the Road to Hana! The service was excellent and the food was even better. There is a cute shaded picnic area to sit and enjoy your food.We had the Hana style fish & chips and the chicken katsu and couldn’t decide which one we liked the best! Troy’s is only open 2 days a week so be sure to check the hours so you can be sure to fit this delicious stop into your trip!Parking: This lot gets decently full but compared to the other parking options on this side of Maui there are a lot of spaces!“
“My husband and I stopped by here on our honeymoon and were mesmerized by the pulled pork sandos. There are truly no earthly words to describe their deliciousness. We may or may not have extended our visit to eat here a second time during our trip….The staff is wonderful, service is great, and food out of this world. If you’re trying to decide whether you should stop here, just do it.“
“Just the coolest atmosphere to dine on this side of Maui. The BBQ chicken is incredibly moist, and I loved the Mac salad. The staff create a family feel. They were friendly, and we chatted about their style of cooking - I dare not share the secret recipe!!!You sit on one of several beaches spread across the beach front. Why would anyone want to eat at the Ritz… when you’ve got this food and vibes at a reasonable price.“
“When you read about the food along the road to Hana, food trucks are typically the recommended options. We took a chance and decided we wanted a sit-down option and were blown away with the Hana Ranch! Our party of 9 got a variety of items off of the menu and every single one of us walked away so satisfied. The fish sandwich and mango passion fruit cheesecake was unreal. I ordered the grilled fish meal off of the kids menu for my daughter and the portion size was huge!Another huge plus was the super clean and private bathrooms they had on site.Kid-friendliness: Water was served in a plastic to go cup with a straw to help reduce spills. We also got a colouring page and crayons for her. Kids portions were absolutely huge; great value for money!“
“We rented a place nearby and wanted to grab some dinner after a late check-in. We called in a take out order and brought it back to our place. Service was lovely, and the food was simply OUTSTANDING! We had salads, Brussels sprouts, ribs, and hands-down the best burger I’ve ever had…ever. We were not expecting such a fantastic meal last minute in Hana town. However, everything was so good, we would definitely come all the way out here just to get this meal again. Mahalo nui!“
“Hands down, this is my favorite place to grab a wholesome, delicious lunch before exploring this side of Maui. Eat here twice, three times, as many as you can if you’re just visiting the area.Parking: Parking is a little tough, but it’s your fault if you show up too late! Haha.“
