Akamai Coffee Company - Wailea offers really great coffee and breakfast food in a very walkable area. Visitors can enjoy a local brew and bite with beautiful seating overlooking the water. The coffee is described as fantastic, with an amazing taste that is smooth, chocolatey, and nutty. The lattes are reasonably priced with high quality ingredients and excellent espresso. Reviewers also enjoyed the apple danish and banana bread. The signature drip coffee was incredible, and while some found the food to be standard, the coffee was consistently praised as the best on Maui. The cafe has a casual and botanical feel, with an outdoor dining area perfect for enjoying a great view.
