“Stopped by after a morning walk on the beach for some coffee. We had a mocha and an americano and both were excellent. It did take a decent amount of time to get them, so don’t be in a rush. The employees were very personable and friendly and I overheard them giving advice for local places to another patron.“
“This establishment possesses considerable appeal, both in terms of its location and ambiance. Upon ordering an espresso, it was noted that the beverage exhibited an acidic profile, lending it a sour flavor, which may suggest it was under-extracted. Additionally, the mocha was found to be somewhat lacking in flavor.“
“Cute coffee shop,,attention to detail appreciated! However the croissants were disappointing, while they looked impressive , they were stale and doughy. Friendly staff, good cup of coffee. Got one of their refreshing juices in a jar , quite tasty!“
“This place is a tiny little Cafe in a strip mall, but the food is sooo good. We got omelettes with hash browns, they were huge, perfectly cooked, and diner style. Perfection. And the malasadas are made when you order them so they are hot and fresh and delicious.“
“I've cherished my mornings at Beach Street for years! The smoothies are a daily delight, and their milkshakes are absolute gems on hot days. Never had a mixed-up order – they're consistently fantastic. The açai bowls? Pure perfection! ?“
“We tasted quite a number of items during our 5-day stay here at the Grand Wailea. We tried Margarita pizza, Açaí Bowl, the Buddha Bowl, Spicy Hawaiian Pizza, Korean Fried Chicken and the fresh-cut pineapple. Even though this was labeled as a cafe - the food was quite good and was always prepared fresh and the staff were also very nice. The Buddha Bowl was our favorite item; it is a vegetarian bowl with fresh vegetables, chickpeas and hummus. The Margarita pizza was our second favorite. Definitely recommend visiting this restaurant if you have a daily credit to spend as part of your Diamond status.“
“It's such a lovely experience! The scenery is gorgeous and the setup is beautiful. The staff are always around to help or get you something, and there's water stations where you can help yourself. Our drinks and food came out pretty fast, and everyone was happy with what they ordered. I was disappointed with the high prices. I would recommend this experience but with the caveat that you should plan your budget accordingly. Individual-size pizzas are $21-25 each and the drinks are upwards of $15 each. It's all delicious, but be prepared for the cost.“
“Overall, this is a very nice place. It's a real estate office that was first converted into a espresso bar and now it's converted to an actual bakery that serves coffee drinks and espresso. I had a mushroom empanada for lunch I had to go they offered to heat it up for me they use a convection oven. It took about 30 seconds. I think they could've shot it through there twice, but I thought the empanada was very rich butter in the pastry. The pastry was extremely flaky. When I first moved to Hawaii. I kind of thought I wasn't gonna be able to have a good big good due to the subtropical climate we have, but I'll tell you the bakers have overcome those concerns now, we have European and Mediterranean style baked goods that taste as good as I can remember from the mainland“
“OMG!! Amazing food. The place is very unique and give you island vibes in your breakfast. I think it should be a tourist place of its own!!We ordered stuffed bubble waffle with coconut. The stuffing was pineapple with coconut jelly chunks on top. Uff it was delicious!!We had ordered their poached egg with corn bread. Corn bread was soft and very mouth watering. I loved it so much that I took just 2 cornbread for on the go with strawberry stuffed waffle thing I guess, I forgot, it was delicious too. If you have a sweet tooth, a must try!! Must visit place..“
“Love their mini cream horns, strawberry florentine cups, bread pudding, crab and chicken salads and pies. Used to like their pasta salad, but I bought one not too long ago and it tasted sour. Possibly because it was the container on the top in a different (new) refrigeration display which is open. I had the crab cake sandwich recently with both the croissant and the grain bread. With the croissant, the sandwich was delicious. With the grain bread, it wasn’t good. The grain bread had a good flavor, but very dry and stale. Overall the food is decent, but quite pricey so not a place we go often.“
“One of my favorite spots to stop in for a bite. The vibe is homey and cozy and welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious, I've had quite a few things on the menu and everything has been phenomenal, but the fried rice is my favorite. We even buy their hot sauce to take back to the mainland with us! We will be sure to visit the next time we're in Maui!! ❤️“
“We stopped here to check these beautiful sculptures made by hand. The owners were so courteous to us. The woman was making pearl necklace. The Mr who owns the shop took the time to explain the meaning of each sculpture. They each have a spiritual meaning: prosperity, protection, family unity and more. He didn’t force to sell was just king to share the culture. They sculptures begin at $60 up to $35,000 depending on size. The jewelry starts at $20 and up.Definitely worth the stop to support the local economy and appreciate the craftsmanship, and get a refreshing coconut on the way to wherever you’re planning to go!“
“Whole VEGAN specific menu (and great options). Also have an espresso machine and open earlier than any other nearby coffee shop. One of the coolest harbor general stores I have been in (and I live in coastal CA). The staff were super friendly and fun. Definitely worth a stop.“
“The coffee shop is very cute and beautiful. The vegan cinnamon roles were amazing! They also a few other vegan options. The coffee was only ok, they don’t have a real barista and their oat milk is not suitable for coffee (no Barista Oatly but has a sweet very oaty taste).“
“We absolutely loved Napili Coffee Shop! The coffee was fantastic, they offered very nice merchandise- shirts, vintage postcards, even nespresso pods! Vibe was so friendly, could have stayed all day. On top of all of that, the manager and staff are phenomenal. We had a problem with some coffee pods and Melissa responded immediately with a refund and apology. Probably the best customer service experience I’ve had in years. And on top of that, the shop offers to cover the food and drink bill for victims of the Maui fire. Compassionate community members! If those aren’t reasons enough to earn your business, I don’t know what would be.“
“Had the opportunity to visit The "Source", talk to Wade and roll up on sum really ridiculously incredible coffee beans!!! Maui Oma's Italian Roast blend is purely amazing. Smooth, strong and flavorful! Ive had the Jamaican, Costa RIca, Guatamalan and many others but this is tops. I also picked up a lb of the pure Maui small beans that Ive yet to taste but I'm a believer. Wade and the crew are the best. Friendly, hard working Coffee peeps!! Enjoyed every minute!!! Bean There, Drank That!!!“
“Enjoyed a late lunch at this quaint cafe facing the waterfront. Ordered several $5 happy hour mai tai's, fish and chips, Mahi Mahi poke nachos, ranch island beef burger, vanilla milkshake and salsa and chips. All were delicious and our waitress was very attentive during our meal. Afterwards we continued touring the Maui Ocean Aquarium. A very fun afternoon.“
“My açaí bowl virginity has finally been had, LOL! I've heard of them but never knew what they were exactly. I thought I was getting a bowl of yogurt with fruits and other toppings. Turns out the açaí is a South American palm tree and it's the berries that you're eating!THE BUSINESS:The Made In Hope Café is a branch of the Made In Hope non-profit organization that assists women and children that have been trafficked for sex. While I have yet to step foot inside the shop (located next to JB's Kitchen in Wailuku), a co-worker did a run for us.THE GOODS:Açaí BowlAvailable in three sizes, I got the regular size which is a medium. Aside from the blended, deep-red açaí berry, you also get granola, honey, fresh cut strawberries and fresh sliced bananas. One "basic" topping is included in which I chose graham crackers (others are caramel drizzle, coconut, chocolate chips, chocolate drizzle, fruit jellies, fruit poppings, marshmallow bits, mini or regular boba, mochi and Oreo crumble. They also have premium toppings which cost a bit more. I opted for Nutella. Other premium toppings are bee pollen, blueberries, brownie bites, chia seeds, condensed milk, mango, peanut butter powder, pineapple, sea salt cream and white chocolate chips.Because our bowls were delivered after lunch, I put mine in the fridge to eat the next day as I was full. Bad idea, more so for the Nutella which clumped up but softened after being out for an hour. The liquid base of açaí berries tasted like a traditional berry sauce, lightly sweetened by the honey. If you're wondering, the açaí is void of any crunchy seeds inside, so it's very smooth and not tart. The chocolatey Nutella and flavors from the fruits all blended well together, providing for a fresh, creamy and light breakfast. They also sell a variety of coffees, teas, other beverages, bagels and small food items.OVERALL:I'm not a huge fan of fruits but I really liked it. It was a very nice change from my hearty, unhealthy breakfasts!“
“Monkeypod Kitchen was amazing. From the hostesses to the bartenders to the servers, everyone was on their A game. We eat out a lot and service for us is the difference between good and great. The food was amazing as to be expected. But the service was friendly, approachable, knowledgeable. First class.“
