“A hidden gem in Kihei! Within walking distance to many condos and the perfect place to have coffee, breakfast or lunch before hitting the beach. They have fresh wraps, plenty of vegan/vegetarian options and this place is run by the nicest people with the biggest hearts. They generously fed anyone impacted by the devastating fires who needed a meal.“
“The malasadas here are fresh and delicious. We ate the Ube malasada before getting a picture, and it was definitely our favorite!! The non filled malasadas are fried up fresh each order, but the wait time was worth it!! The banana bread is a must try too.“
“Consistently amazing food. One of the few trucks on the island that you feel like you've had a healthy and super tasty meal. The side salad is so delicious and the cook/server is super kind and helpful. This truck is the only one that I know of that asks to be paid after your food is served.“
“I've been coming here since I was a kid. UNREAL flavor and fluffy texture. My fav is the regular cinnamon rolls add macadamia nuts with frosting. There's always a line and now you can preorder for pick up so I recommend that if you can! Here's the line at 6AM when they opened! It was worth it.“
“Always 5 star food and service! Ryan is one of 3 servers we sit with regularly and he is always attentive and prompt. By far the best app's on Island - we always get the honey lavender shrimp, sushi, coconut curry with coconut rice on the side. This time we also enjoyed the Octopus which was also delicious. Ribeye is always stellar and we add on the Sweet potato Mash because it's silky and ono. Our only request is to bring back the coconut rice - it's soo good! Brent is a stellar Manager and he always makes you feel right at home!“
“After being in Maui 3 weeks wanted some authentic Mexican food. This place hit the spot. My mahi fish tacos were fresh n tasty. My hubs order the burrito very good too. Prices were very reasonable. $30 ish for 2 dinners and big big portions we couldn't finish lol. Salsa was good too. Owner was kind. Try it you won't be disappointed.“

The freshest fruits, yummy island pastries, Portuguese sausage, rice and all the other fixings…omelette bar, fresh guava, passion, orange juice, coffee and water served table side. “At the last minute now my wife and I decided to order cakes for our destination wedding. We did a little searching and a friend of mine found Maui Wedding Cakes. They were so accommodating with the one months notice and we ordered a gluten free and regular cake. I’ve been gf for about 7 years and when I say this is the best gf item I’ve ever tasted is a very big deal as I’ve tried just about everything! Others loved the regular as well but even those who aren’t gf tried it and we’re blown away! We ordered the gf vanilla with passion fruit filling and needles to say we brought the rest home and I devoured it in 2 days ?. I highly recommend Maui Wedding Cakes to anyone getting married!!!!“
“We cannot stop hitting up this gelato and shave ice place!!! My daughter is dairy-free and they have like half a dozen options for her. Also, the shave ice is HUGE and the most amazing texture I’ve ever had. There are so many flavor options and the coconut flavor in particular is 100!!!! “We got three 6” pies here (apple, key lime & peach raspberry) the day we flew home. We didn’t have a solid plan for when we planned to eat them, so we just dragged them around with us between picking them up and boarding our flight. In that time the paper bag the pies came in ripped while trekking across the airport parking lot in the Maui heat sending the pies toppling to the asphalt. My husband hastily scooped them up and kept on going. Later they were dropped for a second time in the TSA line, where we acquired a new bag from a kind fellow traveller. Halfway through our six hour flight we declared it “pie time” and were anxious to see what kind of messes the pies would be when we opened the boxes, THEY WERE PERFECT. Not a crumb out of place, not only were they the most durable pies we’ve ever eaten, they were absolutely delicious. We would recommend Maui Pie anyone who loves a good pie while visiting beautiful Maui!“

“My Family and I were at dinner at Fred's tonight and during or dinner another guest fainted on me. My uncle and I provided assistance until the victim regained consciousness, with Fred's employees helping to call 911 and then get the firefighters who took over care for the individual. To our surprise, at the end of the evening, Shannon, a manager at Fred's, comped our family's meals and also extended the gesture to the victim's family without any request from us. Thank you Shannon and the rest of Fred’s employees for taking quick actions to help the victim.“
“We're tourists and found this place last minute. We were surprised to learn that customers order at the counter. Okay, no problem, we waited in line and ordered our dinner. I feel badly because I feel I under-tipped, a meager ~10%, at this point assuming everything else would be self-service, getting place settings, pouring my own glasses from a bottle of wine. Also, keep in mind, that we had not had any service yet. And then, the service was top-notch, catering to our needs, pouring wine, etc. And the food (bruschetta, lasagnas, short ribs, seafood linguine) was very, very good. I regret not tipping more ~20% to your excellent staff and service. May good karma come your way with this 5-star review.“
